well I know I pressed I wouldn’t buy again, but honestly I’m not so sure, I’m totally on the fence about it!!
spf 20 is a nice touch.
I’m curious to see if another cheaper drugstore primer can do better to remove shine and combat oil. though my skin loved this one.
smoothes skin, if you layer a lot of it and leave it to totally dry it does make the makeup last. I did that and wore it for a wedding, everything lasted for hours! til 1 am!
after a while I do feel it shrinks pores a bit. like I said, skin looks smoother with it.
though, in hot summer days, it made makeup last about 1 to 1.5 hour. but it was really hot. I was happy to have it though. still am.
price is ridiculous , but I know max factor is a bit expensive as a brand, honestly it’s not a brand that 100% disappoints. I have other products of theirs….
the fragrance didn’t bother me, I like that it dries down fast and is transparent. if I tone/wash and powder oily areas , the primer makes Makeup last.
glass packaging , at first, annoyed me because it’s heavy and I worried it would break, then now I’m glad about it because it’s sturdy and the pump is neat and doles out the exact amount of primer I want.
I do think it runs out a bit fast, I have another primer that is very liquidy but still hasn’t run out so we’ll see.. but so far it’s lasted me 4 months now, not bad.

Not a good primer. The scent is too strong and there is no pore minimizing effect. It doesn’t make the foundation last longer either. Won’t finish the product.

this was not good for me. so oily and slimy and i did not notice any significant change in the way my skin looked, meaning there was no improvement to be seen. expected more out of this

It’s ok, nothing special, will finish this up but wouldn’t repurchase

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews of this product. I purchased it at a Boots store in London and the price was pretty reasonable, under 12£ I believe. I have worn this primer under my make up during a crazy heat wave in a place that has no air-conditioning anywhere. I was a sweaty mess by the end of the day, but when I looked in the mirror to check my make up, I really couldn’t believe how beautiful it still looked. This primer was the only new thing in my routine that day, so I give it all the credit for keeping my make up on through a very tough circumstance. I will totally re-purchase this next time I am in the UK, I just saw that on Amazon.com it will retails for $20 which seems kind of steep for “drugstore,” but I still think it would be worth it at that price.

This works very well with Max Factor Facefinity foundation. I’m super oily and that combination has kept me basically shine free all day.

This primer broke me out like crazy!! At first I had no idea it was this primer until one day I stopped using it and those big, painful cystic acne never came back. It’s such a lovely primer that does what it says but I can’t handle the breakout. Will never use it anymore.

I have been testing it for more than 3 months already and I’m just waiting to run out of it, because I will not repurchase this primer under any circumstance. For me it didn’t do anything. I would say the foundation stayed on for about 1 hour more than it lasts without any primer. It smells horrible and is not suitable for dry skin.

this did not really prolong my makeup and it didn’t hide my pores, plus it’s highly overpriced even though it’s just a drugstore product, there are a lot cheaper primers that works so much better.

My mom uses this and likes it. I’m not that impressed, but it’s better than others I’ve tried so I use this occasionally. It doesn’t leave your skin oily looking or anything like that so that’s a big plus! Your makeup stays on a bit longer with this as a base and it’s a lot cheaper than some other brands. Don’t like the packing though (the bottle is glass) and you waste a lot of product because it’s not easy to get the last bit out.
