A silicone primer, somewhat thick in texture which is good for my dry skin. The price is less than half of the same category of product by Clarins (can’t exactly remember the name) and a much prettier jar.

I used this after the Blackhead Out Oil Gel cleanser and the Pore Tightening Mask, and before my Holika Holika BB Cream. {First I popped some blackheads on my nose (I know, its gross and “they” tell you not to do it, but I couldn’t resist and wanted to start the 3 piece Tony Moly Blackhead set with as “clean of a slate” as possible)}
First off, the balm is very weird. It’s a primer, but it doesn’t come in a typical squeeze tube, but a pot shaped like an egg, which attracted me to it in the first place, because it was different and cute. It had a weird consistency, very thick, and although the packaging is cute, it’s NOT hygienic and not practical. I was wary of scooping it out with my fingers because I didn’t want to contaminate it with germs, and also some of the primer fell on the floor because I just scooped a bit out, and off it went onto the bathroom tile.
Once I spread it on my face, my face looked very smooth, very matte, and the scent was lemony. I noticed and was disappointed that it didn’t sink into my larger pores very well, because I had expected it to. Alas it didn’t. Its cute, though I don’t think I’d repurchase.
*UPDATE*
Awful! This stuff balls up on my face, is thick and leaves a whitish cast. Awful!

I’m surprised by the reviews – I’ve long been searching for a primer that doesn’t feel slippery or sticky, that won’t clog my big huge pores and doesn’t dry out my skin and I found it in this cute little egg. Yes the packaging is crazy and it makes the amount of balm look like very little, but a little goes a long way. It goes on, fills in what needs filling and keeps my makeup on all day. I love this – for the price it can’t be beat but to be honest even if it cost more I’d still buy it.
