I got a mini size as an extra from my last Sephora order. Although the packaging advertises it as a day cream that can be worn alone or with makeup, I find the texture and consistency perfect as a pore blurring primer. I only use it on and around my nose where my pores are most visible and then I layer my Fenty foundation on top of it.
While it does help, I prefer my Benefit Porefection: it’s just a better product in terms of blurring pores and costs a bit less than Dior.

I wish i didn’t like it,but i do and would totally repurchase. I received a sample and forgot about it until I ran out of my hourglass mineral veil, I needed a primer asap so I used the first i got on my hands,tbh i didn’t expect much except an overpriced, overfraganced, sticky base,but was i wrong! I immediately noticed a huge difference in my complexion,it was more luminous,even and plump,pores were smaller and my skin was baby soft.I kept touching my face through the day and was amazed at the softness and firmness of my skin,but more so when i came back home after a 10 hour shift and saw my makeup was as freshly applied in the morning and my t-zone was still as matte(let me tell you as an er nurse i’ll consider this a little Christmas miracle) i was amazed.
I have combination skin and even if i don’t get really oily,some oil will definitely peak through my “power base” (Perricone Md foundation serum + Laura Mercier translucent powder)giving it a dewy finish on my t-zone,but there I was with my makeup perfectly mattified and fresh even after performing a few cprs.
And so after a few days of use,i finished the sample and bought it,shamelessly full price.
Packaging is a pretty pearlescent pink,bit heavy and unnecessarily bulky:typical high end bordering on luxury – so it feels like you got your money’s worth (you didn’t)- and the product itself has a light floral scent that doesn’t linger for too long and a salmony color;it has a similar feel to other silicone primers * ,but at the same time it’s more velvelty and perfecting on the skin,it evens out the tone, blurs imperfections and brightens discoloration.
I read some say it gives them a dewy finish,i wouldn’t agree,it gives luminosity to the skin in the sense that it brightens your complexion,but without any “wetness”…so oily sisters,fear not!
I like to use it as a base with just powder on top to keep oils at bay,but i have pretty good skin to begin with and love minimum makeup.
Now,is it worth 124 euros? Nope,it’s not,it’s a damn primer and i don’t think any make up product is really worth this amount of money,still you are paying for the brand name and a product that for once delivers what it promises.
However to be fair there isn’t anything exactly like it on the market right now so I’ll keep buying it until i find something equally good or better and hopefully cheaper.
*I will say of all the primers i tried the mufe smoothing one is the most similar to this as far as smoothing goes,although it has the same salmony color,it fails to deliver the same glow and evenness.

Sceptical at first, I gave Dreamskin a try expecting to be either very wowed or very disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised. The formula is smooth and fragrant and literally gives your skin a soft focus filter in seconds. Great for my dry, red skin and an excellent primer that made makeup last all day. Going to pick up my second bottle soon! X

I actually really likes this product, wish I wasn’t out of it. I used alone and under my matte foundation and it seemed to help with the application of my foundation as well as help with shine control. I like the smell. The tint. The feeling of my face after. For me this was a winner.

This product didn’t do anything for me. Flesh colored and sheer, I applied this under my foundation. It didn’t really illuminate or act as a makeup primer for my foundation, and was heavily fragranced. It didn’t live up to the “dream skin” hype either. Fortunately, I was using a sample.

I’ve been using this throughout the summer, with a total block underneath. Much as wanted to love this product, I think the only thing I do love is the name, and I probably bought it because I wanted “Dream Skin”. Unfortunately it remained a dream and I will not repurchase.
It’s not offensive in the least, however if feels like one of those products I apply in the vain hope of actually seeing a result – and my dream skin – however I can safely say that after 3 months this is going to be relegated to a body lotion until it runs out.
I have been trying to find a replacement for Philosophy’s The Present for years now, but it seems like I’m going back to a product that actually does smooth my lines and hides my pores. I just wish Philosophy would put their products in more hygenic packaging because one bonus of Dream Skin is the pump dispenser, which The Present lacks.

I have combination skin prone to acne (even at my age, in my mid-40s). I use this over my moisturizer. It is absolutely wonderful. It provides a very understated luminosity. I did find, surprisingly to me, that my skin did improve over time. I also like that the container is refillable at the Dior counter.
I find that I can get away with just using concealer and a light brushing of Diorskin powder. This is a great, subtle, “le no make up” look.
The size I purchased is 1.7fl oz. I have been very slowly adding more and more Dior products to my regimen, and I can honestly say that I love the quality and packaging on all of them.

ALLERGIC! My skin became inflamed due to using this for just a few days. It feels ‘mask-like’ on skin and looks good though feels tight. Super expensive. If you have sensitive skin, I would suggest you avoid this.

Absorbed pretty quickly but felt heavy in pores.
Temporarily made skin look good like a primer.
Made my skin much much more oily just in two days of use. It took me a whole week to get my very oily skin balanced again.
