I’m so glad I got a sample of this before buying as I am not a fan! I’d previously used their illuminating primer (now discontinued) which did exactly what it said it would do, ensured makeup stayed put whilst giving an illuminating effect. This primer does not ensure makeup stays put! It is a clear gel which never dries down so you end up putting foundation over a very shiny face which stays shiny all day! And I have dry skin! Not good at all. I also tried a sample of the water cloud primer, which was like putting straight silicone on the skin. My foundation immediately balled up, so this was also a complete no-go. Why do companies feel the need to change things that work, to things which often don’t! Sheesh!

This stuff sucks. It does exactly what it promises to do, so i mean, good for it. One lippie. But it does it in the wrong way.
It has a very oily/siliconey texture that feels pretty nice on the skin but makes you look like an oil slick if you apply too much. And applying too much is way, way too easy. Anything over a pea sized amount and bam, you look like you just stuck your head in a grease fryer.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. “JUST APPLY SOME POWDER”. Powder is no match for the oily hell this primer thrusts you into. It doesn’t matter how amazing of a foundation and powder you apply over this stuff, it will eat it up and make it separate something fierce. Your foundation will have HOURS cut off its lifespan if you use this primer with it.
Please, avoid this primer. It’s horrible. My skin is dry and I can’t even get it to work.
