Overall, it doesn’t give me breakouts or irritation. I use this as a serum sometimes because it’s quite hydrating.
I like the glossy effect it has when i put on my makeup- it’s dewy and fresh. However this product work best as a moisturizer, not a primer- makeup would slip away if applied directly after it. Also, if you are not a fan of the slicky, oily feeling then this isn’t the best product for you (i personally like the glass skin effect so it’s right for me).
the gold flakes are visible which looks pretty but does nothing much for my skin.
the spatula isn’t hard to use, but you have to be patient and wait for product to stop dripping.
product runs out fast, and it’s pricey. i would buy it again, but maybe when it’s on sale.

I think it’s finally time to talk about this product sinced I’ve been using for a month… And the first thing I’m going to say is that’s a terrible primer! The texture it’s kinda creamy and after applying the skin feels a bit matte, which is a thing I like about a primer. But when I put the foundation after it dries up, I don’t like it. I seriously don’t like how my make up looks like after using this.
After my disappointing and thinking I losted around 16/17€ for this piece of crap, I searched for reviews and I decide to try this product as a serum. I was skeptical about this idea, but I decide to give it a try. Fortunally, I actually end up liking a lot more this product as a serum. It worked well and made disapper some pimples I had! I use this day and night, monday to friday. On weekend I use the Mineral 89 in exchange of this one.
So, the advice I give you if you do not like this “primer” is to try it as a serum. I have combination and sensitive skin and it worked very well on me. I even risk to say that my skin look a lot more luminous sinced I start to use this product, probably because of the collagen on his composing. Even though it’s something I do not really need, my skin feels somehow different. And for that reason I really like this product!

I bought this product after reading that it contained collagen and gold flakes. But not to my surprise,it does nothing to my skin. Its a thick liquid solution,which I thought would instantly hydrate my skin,but it does nothing. Even as a primer,it does no wonders. It neither elongates my makeup nor does it makes application any easier. I wish it could be of any purpose. Highly disappointed from NYX for this primer serum.

I wanted to like this primer but I don’t. It adds nothing to a dewy look and the gold specks don’t really show up. Their cheaper, less sexy primers are much better.

Packaging is the best thing about this, DO NOT BUY!!!!! when I use this on my face and fan it down to put foundation on my face it makes my foundation kinda roll off like a peal it looks soooooo bad

I like this primer for use under powder mineral foundations. I have tried several and this one seems to work the best (next is nivea shave balm) at giving the foundation the most staying power. I’ve tried it with It Cosmetics and Bare Minerals and it works well with both…maybe a little better with Bare Minerals but that may just be that my skin adapts better to BM. I do not like the packaging for this primer though. It’s messy and a royal pain in the @$$ to deal with. A pump would be so much better. But it’s not a deal breaker. I will keep buying it. I may even invest in a bottle with a pump to transfer it over to.

I use this primer in combination with my Porefessional by the benefits cosmetics. So first I apply the Porefessional and then I top this baby on my cheeks etc, let it dry and apply my foundation on top! It works like magic. Something about it really makes my skin look healthy and glowy. I love the pricing for this product, not so happy with the applicator but I don’t use that one anyway! OVERALL: TRY IT OUT!

This primer is the reason I can wear mineral and other powder foundation. It moisturizes/primes my face so that the powder melts into my skin while still providing nice coverage. This won’t minimize pores, so I use my Smashbox primer to cover the large pores near my nose. I’m so happy to have found this now that my skin is drying out with age, but is still break out prone. This primer has never broken me out. I will keep repurchasing this product as long as NYX makes it!

The price of this is outrageous $17.00 for that little product? Anevery and at the drugstore no less. The packiging is akward and it seems to be really sticky upon opening. The product itself is pretty good. I use this after I wash my face and before my moisterizer every night and before I start my makeup every morning. My skin has never felt so soft and I overall really enjoy this product.

Similar to Guerlain L’Or primer in appearance and functionality, looks clear w/ gold flecks, and holds my foundation well. Also gives my matte foundation a slight understated glow which i like. ✅Fabulous price-point. It would be better with a pump applicator, but overall, an excellent product. I will repurchase.
