Purchased this specifically to help conceal dark underarms (upcoming vacation crisis) that no amount of skincare, including hydroquinone seems to be getting rid of. You get 4 cream correctors in this: green to conceal redness, purple for dullness, yellow for pigmentation and orange for dark circles. The problem is…the orange is actually more a red and whatever body foundation or concealer I apply over this I can still see a vivid tinge of red. Well I can’t speak for anyone else but dark underarms seem a whole lot more appealing to me than red ones! This could have worked if it wasn’t for the fact that these are so pigmented. If you apply one of these you must use heavier makeup than normal or they run the risk of being visible. I’ve seen reviews online of people using just the color corrector and no foundation or concealer over it and I’m having to ponder whether we’re even using the same product! On the plus side you pretty much have in here everything you could ever want in a color correcting palette without having to purchase them separately – which I would have otherwise done. The green one works well for redness around my nose, so long as I use a solid foundation or concealer over it. I haven’t had any use for the purple or yellow as of yet but it’s good to know they are there…and all for 6 GBP (7.5 USD) in a compact case with a handy mirror and magnetized lid that stops it from opening when it shouldn’t.
