I bought this in green because I have aging, dry skin with mild rosacea. I wear foundation but I don’t like a lot of heavy products on my face and this fits in my routine perfectly. I really like this primer/corrector. It’s not heavy, kind of sheer, and it corrects my pink areas. Also, it’s not matte which is a plus for me b/c my skin is so dry. And I noticed my foundation lasting all day where before it didn’t, it would wear off in my cheeks, nose, under eyes. I could see this becoming my HG primer/correct for the cold winder months in Pennsylvania.

I have fair olive skin, and as with a lot of others with olive skin, dark under eye circles are an issue. My dark circles are reddish purple, and a lot of under eye products have a pink tone, but this only makes red/purple look worse as it wont correct those tones. I wasn’t sure if I should go with the yellow or green, but opted for the yellow since my circles are more purple than red. I applied this in a thin layer from the inner corner to the outer corner of my under eye area working down to where the cheekbone starts. While the corrector alone isn’t going to provide coverage, it gives just sheer hint of yellow to counteract the purple tones. After it sets, I applied Nars radiant creamy concealer over top, then set that with either a bit of Revolution Baking Powder in White with a bit of Revolution Banana Light. since I’m of a certain age where under eye lines are a thing, I don’t use a ton of powder nor do I bake it one. I apply a moderate amount then dust it off with a big fluffy powder brush. This correcter does a good job, it help my concealer last longer, this honestly extended the wear of my concealer better than the product I was using previously. This should keep things looking good 8-10 hours, possibly 12.

I have this in yellow, green and blue. I use these by actually mixing them into my foundation to correct the tone, since I have such olive skin tone. The green helps balance out the pink and the yellow helps adjust it to my skin. Finally the blue counters any orangey-ness. These are a bit steep at $20 a pop. But I got them on sale for $10 each a while back.

I have this in blue shade. I was looking for a dupe of the Becca First Light primer and I actually like this a bit better because it isn’t shimmery like the Becca. I do not wear foundation and usually not even tinted moisturizer. I am very pale/pink with some uneven skin tone. This NYX corrector tones down redness and gives me a bright, even, healthy look under sunscreen. Not moisturizing, so you still need that from another product. I ordered online from Target for about $10.
