   The Pistachio color does a great job of cancelling out redness around my nose, blemishes, and other rosy spots, the problem is it doesn’t stick to my skin at all. I’ve tried using it over a couple different primers, experimenting with powder over and under it, and applying with a variety of different brushes, but it’s ultimately too emollient to adhere properly.

   I have the best success applying primer, then this product, then foundation with a light dusting of powder on top, allowing a few minutes to set between each step. I use a concealer brush to apply the product around my nose and to any blemishes, and use my pointer fingers to gently pat it onto red areas on my forehead, upper lip, and tops of my cheeks.

   The package is lovely: a frosted glass tub with a twist-off top. It’s pretty enough to keep on top of my vanity, but not effective enough to earn a permanent place in my stash. When I run out, I’ll be purchasing Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid in Green. I tried a sample and loved it.

   I have to say, I just got this and will have to write more later. But, first impression:
   (this is for Pistachio) the color is MUCH lighter than it appears on my computer screen, which I’m glad about…I almost didn’t check this out in person, thought it would be too dark/green for me, but it’s a light minty shade, not the blaring bright green showing in most pics I’ve seen. Will post more about it once I’ve used a few more times.

   UPDATE: I’ve used this a couple of times so far, though at the moment my chin isn’t as red as it sometimes is.

   The texture of this is amazing! It’s smooth and creamy; in the past when I’d tried green correctors, they were so heavy and goopy I just gave up…not that the heavy skin-colored concealer was much better. 🙁

   So, the texture of this is light, almost whipped…yet it does a great job of neutralizing the redness. I applied with a small dampened sponge (new mini RT purple one), patting gently over the area to be neutralized. I allowed to set for a minute, then used my cream foundation over it, applied with my Sephora Pro Press #66. I think that using the patting motion helped, as it didn’t wipe off or blend with the corrector. Anyway, it really helped, didn’t break me out or cause itching (a problem I sometimes get).

   I am now intrigued enough to be thinking about the lavender corrector too…

   UPDATE 2/11/17: Now that I’ve been using this awhile with a variety of foundations (not just the cream one mentioned above), I like it even more! I find that when I use this, I use much less foundation and concealer, may even eliminate the need for concealer! For best results, allow it to set for a bit before applying foundation over it. Ideally, I apply this first (mostly my chin, sometimes cheeks, around the nose) with an RT mini sponge (damp), blending but allowing it to remain somewhat visible (shouldn’t disappear into the skin), then do my eyes (which I always do before foundation). Then it’s well set before I apply foundation, which in those areas is best applied with a patting motion (so as not to disturb the corrector), a beautyblender works well.

   UPDATE NOTE 5/15/17: I’ve tried other application methods–finger, brush–but a damp RT mini sponge works much better than any other method. Seems to get just the right amount on the area and works it into the skin so it melds and doesn’t just sit on top.

   This is my first time ever purchasing a color corrector and I didn’t think the coverage stayed on very well on my skin. I don’t know if this is lack of experience, but when I put it on, it does cancel out any redness, but if there is a bright blaring red pimple, it doesn’t hold on to the skin very well.
   I put on some backlight primer first, the pistachio primer corrector, but it can move once you put foundation on top and I am referring to the really bad pimple.

   I love the packaging because you can dip your brush in the pot and control how much you want to put on your skin. The cap seals the jar perfectly and there is no scent that I can detect.

   I would repurchase because aside from that nasty red pimple, it did a great job on other parts of my face. The cream glided on nicely when I used my fingers.

   Finally Becca expanded its range of correctors and now there are four new shades, including a green-coloured one called Pistachio.

   I tend to have some redness around my nose and obviously during hormonal break-outs, so this green corrector works wonders at covering my discolouration. It does have a very creamy texture and is very easy to blend.

   These correctors stay put underneath foundation, and actually you might even need less of it when you use a corrector because it does a great job at perfecting your complexion. Green is perfect for those, who suffer from rosacea, redness or maybe blemishes. Highly recommend this one!
