I bought this on clearance at Target for 20.00. It states it is mousse texture, but more like paste-I checked the expiration date, but that was still a year away. It made my skin look awful-showed every pore, looked very creepy, when my skin does not look that way with no makeup! I hope I can return this.

I strongly!!! recommend this both for dry skin and for oily skin. I live where it is very sunny and dry throughout the year. So I have to put a lot of moisturizer, and then the surface of my skin will be too sticky and even rub off when I apply foundation on the top. But this one has a matte finish, so it controls extra oil, making your skin a perfect canvas for following makeup. It hides the pores and smooth your skin, and you will not need another primer at all. Since it is a physical sunscreen, though, in applying foundation, you should gently pat with a sponge instead of ‘scratching’ with a brush. Just give it a try.

I bought this on a whim in Ulta. It was on sale and I was looking for a mechanical sun protectant for my face. The texture at first seemed not promising. It comes out very thick, like sand-colored toothpaste but it smooths out really well on the skin and provides good coverage that looks natural. I’ve almost used a whole tube and am worried about having to buy it full-price now. I’m also oily and this does not break me out or look oily even after a few hours.

The previous review is very well written and informative, so I can’t improve on that. This product is very pasty and hard to spread in terms of texture. It’s also not the right tone for my fair (around NW 15) skin, so it looked pretty obvious in contrast to the skin on my neck. I think it did oxidize as well, and orange tones are a no no on my cool toned skin. But the worst thing about wearing this is how my skin went crazy after less than a week of starting to use this product. I’ve never had eczema before in my life, but either that or something similar to that flared up all around my face. Can I say for sure that this product was the cause of it? No. But CosDNA says laureth-4, one of the ingredients in this product, is a 5 out of 5 for acne causing and 4 out of 5 for skin irritation. I know my skin was sure irritated! Even if it didn’t wreck my skin, I’m still very unimpressed with this product.

I’m going on vacation to sunny Hawaii & want an easy routine with minimal time spent getting ready. So I bought this 3-in-1 sunscreen/primer/skin tint so I could save a couple of steps! This La Roche Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Tinted Primer, has a neutral light beige color that slightly evens out my NC30/35 skin. I just need a tiny bit of concealer & powder to set.
There’s no white cast, but my face does look a bit more “grey”. BUT it does leave a nice matte, slightly powdery, silicone finish. Pores totally disappear, skin looks soft, & it makes a good base for LIGHT makeup. I would not wear foundation over this because it would look too cakey.
Unfortunately, I spend more time applying, than if I were to layer on a tinted sunscreen & primer separately! This cream formula is SO THICK like a hard paste. It can look cakey if you don’t take time to blend it in (almost like a cream foundation). I love the concept, but I would not repurchase; I want something more effortless to apply.
