I must say 1st of all this is heavily perfumed which i can still smell “awhile” after application & somexs it can make me feel like sneezing when I wear it but it smells good! I have oily skin but it doesn’t make it shiny or anything just if anything “not dusty” w the Argan oil. The packaging is so pretty, intricate Golden reminds me of Aztecs.

I really like this product – it goes on very smoothly, looks great and lasts all day. You can re-apply if necessary and it doesn’t get cakey. Yes, it does have a strong rose scent, bur I can get used to that.

I love this, and I’m not fond of powder, but need to set my T-zone. I purchased Translucent and there were 2 more color options at CVS. Silica powder is ok (Elf and MUFE) but this one is creamy and beautiful. I removed the silver over spray, and see no twinkles on my face. On the packaging it says for dry to very dry skin. Now, the smell. It smells herbal to me, and it is not overpowering, dissipating within 5 minutes, but I’m not over sensitive to smells. If you are, this one may be a no-go.

So, I’m enough of a makeup addict that I decided to try this out on a lunch break. I put it on over my HG foundation, ZuZu Luxe Powder Foundation in D-4. (I’m a PPP with rosacea, chemical sensitivities and lots of allergies.) I love that this is gluten-free.
This is beautiful, when applied. It is very finely milled. It’s a good texture.
However, that’s where the kudos end. The scent is incredibly strong. Within, five minutes, my face started to hurt (and this is over another heavy powder that contains kaolin clay as the second ingredient.)
I had to wash it off because it irritated my super-oily, but allergy-prone skin, almost immediately.
Physician’s Formula is great for hypoallergenic eyeshadows, eye pencils, liquid eye liners, and even one of their (Cat Eye) mascaras–but the only foundation of theirs that I can wear (and it’s HG) is in their Organic line. It’s like there are two companies–one is into fun stuff, and the other is a serious hypoallergenic cosmetics company (and a really good one). This is in the fun stuff, and it’s too scented. Pass.

I really wanted to like this powder! It comes in a shiny gold compact with a beutiful designed stamped into the powder itself. It has a center diamond type shape that has an overspray of pretty gold toned shimmer! Very lovely powder. As far as I know this only comes in translucent and that is the shade that I purchased.
The powder itself is very soft and finely milled with a silky feel. On my skin I had no problems with it in color match as it did just blend into my skintone as a translucent powder should so that was good.
But this is where the good stuff ends. This powder is PUMPED full of perfume and I dont mean just a little that goes away..when you apply this you are going to smell that fragrance for hours! This bothers me…alot…especially since its not a very pleasent scent it reminds me of burned plastic that someone tried to cover up with a musky perfume…it doesnt smell good and it doesnt go away!
I knew this would have fragrance in it as it states that in the claims but I had no idea it would be this strong. If perfumed makeup bothers you even a little bit stay away!!! Normally Its ok for me if the fragrance dissipates after a few mins but this one definitely doesnt.
conclusion:
2/5 lippies because….
-Heavy perfume is irritating and does not dissipate after use, rendering product unusable
-no color selection
