   I would so like this to come in a lighter colour. The powder is great, but it has rather more colour than I would like. Paler please!

   I got this in colour 10 Transparent. At first, I actually liked this product, but the more I used it the less I liked it. It looks very cakey even if I dust the majority of it off my face with a clean brush. I even use a tissue to get rid of the excess. Still looks cakey. It adheres to every little hair on my skin which does not look attractive at all. No matter how I apply it, it does not give natural finish whatsoever. I would not say that it’s the worst powder in the world, but I would not purchase again or recommend it.

   This is such a great powder. Way better than Rimmel’s Stay Matte imo. It keeps my makeup in place all day and mattifies my skin really well! It’s very finely mild and easy to use. The packaging broke after a while but that’s the only con of this powder really, as it’s so, so affordable.

   I accidentally crossed the kiosk of Catrice because of its colorful arrays of make-ups and nail polishes and there I found this. I bought the color Nude Beige as it suits my NC30 skintone – with warm undertone. So after I prep my face with serum and sunblock and I apply the Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Foundation in BE1, I lastly finish with this powder.

   Though not an HG status, this is still a revelation for me. My expectations were way below, in reference to its cheap price, but it delivered more than I expected. The texture is very fine to touch and silky upon application. I was even surprised that despite its fine texture, it was still able to absorb the excess oil. I also did not feel any tightness or itchiness. Staying power is also satisfactory that it lasted for 4 hours the most. My acne-prone oily skin did not also break out after using this. I am normally very fickle-minded in using make-ups, I think I will using this until I hit pan – which I will definitely repurchase afterwards.

   I haven’t been as thrilled with this pressed powder as I had hoped, though it’s not a complete bust. The package claims that it is mattifying, long-lasting, and ultra silky. As for that last claim, the powder is very finely milled, has no noticeable fragrance, and applies well. It leaves a soft almost velvety finish to the skin. It’s matte, but not overly drying, and doesn’t appear cakey or too powdery upon application. But for those first two claims, I’ve been disappointed with how it wears over time. The package claims that it is long-lasting and mattifying, but within a short hour, maybe two, there is significant oil and shine through my t-zone. I suspect this has to do with the first ingredient in the product, which is talc. Talc is very hit or miss in powders, and for me, it is not only ineffective in large quantities, but it tends to make my shiny oily problems even worse. I produce less oil when I don’t use this powder as opposed to when I do. For me, that defeats the purpose of using it.

   I would think that this powder would work well for someone with dryer skin looking to set a foundation, or someone with more normal or lightly combination skin. But if you have very oily skin, this might not work as well for you. A more effective powder for me from Catrice is the Prime and Fine Translucent Loose Powder. Talc is still an ingredient, but judging by how well it has performed, the concentration of talc is less.
