This is a rather nice loose powder, although a bit pricey. It does not give a chalky appearance and it lasts well. It also has an amazing smell (smells like almonds and cinnamon — I just wanna eat it!). I prefer using a powder brush instead of the sponge that comes with the packaging.
I hadn’t bought a loose powder before, so I didn’t know how to “unpack” it correctly. The thing you should do when you buy it is unscrew the plastic coverage with the holes and take off the transparent sticker. Then you put the screwing plastic back and there you go.

This is probably the best powder I’ve ever used. Even though it is translucent, it covers well and evens out nicely, without making my skin look chalky. This really gives me a long-lasting flawless finish. I also love how it doesn’t contain talc which made me break out previously.
It’s not too expensive either – at least in Europe (I think I payed around 15 euros and I can see it lasting for years, even with daily use). The only thing I don’t like about it is the plastic packaging, which is fairly bulky and looks very cheap.

At first when I tried on Dr.Hauschka’s Translucent Powder Loose, the plastic filter didn’t spread the particles out that evenly, so the dabbing with the sponge, it gave a very uneven coat. But following the example of another reviewer here, I tried it with a powder-brush (Eco Tools to be exact) and it gave a really sheer, matte, natural finish to your face! A lot better than the things that I’ve tried previously.
Now, the least flattering thing about this product is the packaging. As it is big and bulky and black, but not in an elegant way. The sponge is rather useless as it doesn’t coat very well, and by dabbing it onto your face it can easily become dirty if you powder a face that isn’t recently rinsed.
I have to say that the smell isn’t my favourite, it is flowery and reminds me of talcum powder. But in spite of all of this, I really like the product. It looks really natural and blends greatly with my skin. I have yet to try out the compact powder, but I hear loose gives a more sheer coverage. It is worth trying out and I will probably buy it again!
