I spent a month hunting for this stuff online – StarGazer is UK-based. It took another month to arrive after ordering from a UK ebay seller, but those two months were well-spent, and so was my $. It wound up costing a little less than $10.
OMG. I have never ever met a powder, foundation, nor concealer with such great coverage! Redness & acne/spots disappear, undereye darkness is just gone. It truly works with my so-pale-all-the-veins-show skin. [They also make several colors for folks who aren’t so melanin-impoverished, and a gothy white.] It really stays put. Even after I blow my nose it doesn’t need re-application! Has anyone else met a powder like that?!
The consistency is incredible – it feels like *magic.* Lightweight, smooth, non-drying, non-sticky…it’s glide-y. I’m always happy when I get a little on my fingertips; I play with it a little, it feels so nice! It does indeed have a shimmer, but it’s fine for day wear since it’s subtle. It’s also buildable without getting trashy-looking, which is so rare among powders, let alone shimmery ones.
This powder would make a nice, subtle highlighter for anyone but me.
My skin actually looks better for two to three days after I’ve worn it. It’s *magic!*
The compact is the typical size, well-made, & stays closed. It’s also easily opened, unlike the previously-reviewed cover girl junk which destroys fingernails every time. The puff is very nice, the mirror is fine and a decent size.
No fragrance, fellow sensitives. It’s also never bothered my contact lenses.
It’s made in the UK, so no Chinese factory workers get abused.
I plan on ordering another when this one’s half gone, and I’m even considering investigating StarGazer’s liquid foundations, too.
The only bad thing I can say about StarGazer is too many of their website color swatches are exceptionally feeble.

They have reformulated it, and now mineral oil is the first listed ingredient. It looks chalky and awful, and the shimmer is not even noticeable. It no longer feels like magic, either. It drops to one lippie, and I wouldn’t replace it. The search for a great powder resumes. 🙁
