This looks absolutely beautiful on me, I use it as my everyday go to foundation. I use my usual concealer then buff this over the top with a kabuki brush. It is light to medium coverage but that suits me day to day on my oily combination skin. I find it sits best on moisturised skin which has been left to settle for around 10 mins. I bought N25 initially but it is slightly on the pale side, N30 is a better colour match. It is pricey but the results mean that I don’t mind paying.

This powder looks beautiful initially, and I’ll go into detail about what I like, but unfortunately it makes my combo-oily skin look quite shiny much quicker than what I’m used to, no matter what primer/setting spray I use. I think this would be a great powder foundation for dry to normal skin.
So, I’ve been looking for a new powder foundation ever since Alima discontinued the lightest shades in all undertones for their Satin Matte foundation (ugh). The shade N0 is a great match for my N10-ish skin. Leans neutral to warm in my opinion, which is perfect for covering my redness. Also, when opening the compact for the first time I thought, uh this is way too dark. But strangely, it looks lighter applied than in the compact. I like applying it with a Morphe E44 brush (densely packed buffing brush w/ rounded top). I swirl the brush in the compact and stipple/lightly swirl it onto my face. This application method gives great coverage; I can achieve strong medium coverage with a generous layer or 2 thinner layers. I can apply quite a bit and it doesn’t look cakey, as the formula is quite buttery. The finish on the skin is great, it’s smooth and has a subtle blurring effect as well.
Now onto the unfortunate part, lol. This powder makes me oilier than any foundation I’ve ever tried. Maybe because the formula is so soft and buttery? I’m not sure if it’s a specific ingredient causing this or just my skin’s reaction. It’s just so strange for a powder foundation to make me this oily. I’ve tried different primer/setting spray combos and while some of them help, I generally need to blot my face a good hour or 2 earlier than I would with my typical foundation routine. The constant blotting also makes the foundation a tad dry looking by the end of the day. Not bad looking by any means, but I’ve used better. Oily peeps, I’d steer clear.

I’ve been using this for a year years. I have acne prone sensitive skin. This is one of the only powders I can use on my face. The other is nude by nature.

This pressed foundation works well with my acne prone skin, the only thing is it makes my skin look a little oily. It’s not too bad when it gets oily I just re-apply a little bit the powder around my cheeks and nose and I’m good to go. I break out easily with makeup but this powder seems to be helping my skin. I wear this on top of my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and it’s not too heavy. I haven’t tried it by itself only because I like a lot of coverage.

This powder is such an easy, hassle-free product to use. It gives me medium coverage, so I love using it with a little concealer, but I’ve noticed my nose will get shiny about 5 hours in, which seems okay to me for a powder foundation. I’ve gotten into the habit of carrying it with me when it counts. It wears well, no cakey-ness or settling, it goes on smoothly and transfer is minimal. It does last until the end of the day on my forehead and cheeks, but my oily areas wear it away, as to be expected. I will definitely repurchase, I’ve hit pan after months of use.

I hated this foundation. It seemed to have a lot of transfer on everything – clothes, etc. I got oily quick and then oxidized. Seemed to have a good color range but not great coverage. Just not for me. Giorgio Armani powder foundation is still my HG.

I’m not sure how to rate this, so I’m going with a neutral three. I loved the fine texture, and this is the first pink undertoned foundation I ever thought looked natural and flattering on me. BUT, I finally had to admit that I was breaking out A LOT while using it (at 62!), and I’m pretty sure this was the cause. This is one of the mineral makeups whose ingredients do not ring a bell as minerals, and that might be my problem. I wish I could use it, but I’ll stick to the old stand-bys, Alima Pure and Laura Mercier Pressed Mineral Foundation.

Doesn’t settle into my pores or look thick on my face. Doesn’t cling to my dry patches.

This is my HG foundation. For reference, I have freckles, uneven skin tone and a lot of pigmentation. I have a tall order where I want a pressed foundation to even out my skin tone, and conceal all my hyper pigmentation, but also feel light and look natural, and not mask like or emphasize wrinkles and this foundation does it all. Its amazing. I apply sunscreen after washing my face, wait a few minutes, and then apply this pressed foundation with the pad it comes with in the compact. I add blush and a little bronzer and in a few minutes it melts into your skin (doesnt sit on top) and gives this glow. I have tried foundation from Bare Essentials/Minerals (broke me out) and Jane Iredale pure pressed base as well, Youngblood takes the cake. I do love Jane Iredale, but I feel that Youngblood is more finely milled and it gives my skin this healthy glow. Even my husband commented that my skin looked pretty when I first used this. I love Youngblood products, stumbled upon them by accident and I feel like they are a lesser known gem of a brand. I would highly recommend this brand! Pricey, but you can find it on ebay or on sale on websites at lower costs and its worth it!

I’ve been using this alone for about a week now and i’m in love.
Originally I bought it to set my revlon colour stay whipped foundation (also a goody). But as the temperatures got hotter the revlon made me look like I was a melting cake.
I have really bad luck with powders — I always seem to get itchy and breakout from them (physicians formula especially). But, I was desperate so i chanced it. AND IT WORKED!
Long lasting coverage, colour match, easy application, natural looking, and so far no bad reaction- in fact my skin looks clearer AND i’m nearing that time of month! I did have a couple tiny clogged pores the first few days but that has cleared up so I can’t say this was the culprit.
I’m going away on vacation and will be spending days at the beach and I am thanking my lucky stars that this miracle has entered my life (dramatic, i know but there’s nothing worse than being high maintenance on vacay). I just bought their bronzer blush in peach and I’m also liking that 😀

Don’t know why I have not tried Cover FX till now, always thought its products were for heavy coverage which I wasn’t into, while they do offer heavy coverage products this powder is fantastic!! First off the selection is amazing and is a perfect match to my Olive skin (N50) it’s light coverage, IMO I wouldn’t say this isn’t medium coverage, goes on like a dream and leaves my complexion looking fantastic and feels like I’m wearing nothing which I love. Also love that these products are vegan, price point is great for the quality and my skin does not get clogged up at all, also love that I can get these products at my local Pharmaprix (Shoppers Drug Mart) and get my optimum points while I’m at it!

This is a nice mineral pressed powder foundation however it doesn’t give the full coverage I was hoping for. I would say light to medium. Even after primer it doesn’t last on my oily areas like around my nose and chin. You must moisturize really well or it will show any dryness on your face. Pros: The color G30 is an exact match. The finish looks natural. I won’t repurchase.
