This does set foundation, but if you have oily skin like me it does not last long, product will move, transfer and fade because the powder does not last long enough on my skin. Another problem I have with this product is that it has glitter in it……why? In the end I ended up using it to set my eyeshadow base and it works alot better for that than as an all over face product. I wish I liked it because I love wet n wild, but this just didn’t work for my oily skin.

Fantastic Product! After I apply my foundation and Pressed Powder, I use a Powder Brush and Lightly Brush my face with this Mattifying Powder. It is White but goes on Clear. This Locks in my Make Up And Soaks up my Natural Oils throughout the day. I have noticed what a huge difference how less Oily my face is throughout the day while using this product. I live in South Florida where the Humidity is Brutal for Make Up And this does a Fantastic Job! This is definitely now part of my regular Make Up Routine. And the Price is Right, You can’t go wrong!

I bought this, in a pinch, to replace a broken NYX Pressed HD Finishing Powder (Translucent). The packaging of this powder looks similar. However, it doesn’t mattify my shine-prone tzone as well….and the NYX HD powder’s mattifying skills are only average, TBH.
The NYX powder has a very fine (“poreless”) finish, as did some of the Sonia Kushuk powders I’ve tried. This is ok, but doesn’t seem as finely milled.
Wet n Wild actually has quite a few good products considering it’s a budget brand, this one is just… meh. The only positive I can think of is that it does not look cakey easily or quickly.
(Note: I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks and have had many breakouts, but I’m still not totally certain if this powder is to blame. I changed up some other things in my routine so whether or not this breaks me out is TBD).

Have no clue what this is even for. Granted i dont have oily skin but i do love a powder look. This has a bit of a over cast to me. I may break it up and add some brown matte mica to it to make a light bronze………It was free during a sale. Love my wet and wild. but this like make my brain think: .what does it even mean?

I have to say that I am a huge fan of Wet n Wild, have been for many years, and definitely love trying out new products, when they are launched by them. This powder, I don’t truly understand, just what it is supposed to do. It does not go on completely colorless. It happens to lighten up my foundation shade, until it happens to wear off, during the day. In regards to it being a great setting powder, I simply feel like there are much better setting powders out there for sure that truly leave ones face looking airbrushed, where this one, I feel adds nothing truly special to ones face at all.
I was very excited about trying it, but unfortunately I ended up not really caring for it at all. And, have absolutely no plans to ever purchase it again. I also don’t even find it truly worth trying, no matter your age or skin type either.

I’m always on the lookout for mattifying powders, so I decided to give this one a try. It’s only $2.99 so I thought, why not? Well it didn’t help keep oil at bay and it made me look pale. I’ve never had a problem with a mattifying powder making me look like a ghost before but wow this really did. I’m going to keep using it just to set my eyeshadow primer, but not for my t-zone anymore. I don’t recommend for anyone darker than medium tan.

This powder serves it’s purpose… it does mattify, however it’s kind of hard to get the powder on the brush because its “pressed” so hard?? into the compact..Atleast I don’t have to worry about it breaking or alot of fall out though… But for the price it’s a good product

This is a decent quality powder. It does not mattify my skin all day, but few things do. My only complaint is the lack of a mirror, but for less than a fiver, I can’t complain.

This is usually recommended for oily skin girls and I have really oily skin and I just can’t get the hype with this. It does literally nothing. Everytime I wear it with ALL my different foundations and primers this makes my makeup last 2-3 hours before it’s disgustingly shiny and oily, I’m pretty sure I’d be better off not applying powder. The compact is also really bulky which makes it a bit of a pain to store.
Would not recommend this product for really oily skin.

This is really very nice powder and only costs three dollars. It can be used to set foundation and has a very pretty look. I like the way it gives extra coverage to someone who needs and for the price, is worth it. I bought it as an alternative to the expensive Sephora setting powder and find it works great!
