In order to be actually benefited by sunscreens, you need to put a lot product and also have to keep re-applying throughout the day. So some people say that keeping a thin layer of powder product on your face along with touch-ups is more effective to protect your skin. I am not sure if this opinion is accurate, but I did try numerous powder foundations.
For a pressed powder foundation, I have used Guerlain, Christian Dior, YSL, Lancome, MAC, Benefit, Body Shop, Sephora, Shiseido, Kanebo, IT Cosmetics, you name what. Although most of these were really nice, I often have a hard time finding a perfect match for my skin (NC15 Asian). Most products for “cool” tone have too much pink, and “warm” tones are too dull. So far the closest match has been Missha #21, which has a light to medium coverage, velvet finish (which does not look cakey even if you put quite a bit), and it does not accentuate pores/lines either. I do not really see the need to use super expensive products anymore. If you are looking for a pressed powder foundation of yellow-base, I recommend that you should give this a shot.
(Honestly, I like IT Cosmetics Celebration Illumination the best. It is is silky, smooth, moist, and does illuminate your skin softly and beautifully. However, if you apply it on a moisturized face, it clings to pores and lines. So, you should use it over a mattifying primer. )

I picked this up with a 30% off coupon since I was ordering other things and looking for a setting powder/light coverage powder foundation. Missha’s #27 Perfect cover BB is one of my better matches, so I figured I’d grab the powder in the same color.
The colors are pretty close. I’d say that the powder is a tad more neutral, but it’s still a pretty warm color. The coverage is definitely sheer/barely there. I swatched it extremely heavily in the picture over primer to get it to show up for a color comparison. Regardless, I like the product–it looks natural and not too “powdery” and is more of a natural matte than a powdery matte. It is very finely milled. The packaging is nice, although I don’t necessarily agree with reviewers who say that the Missha compacts have a high-end feel–they definitely seem plasticky to me, but given what I actually paid for the product, I feel like the packaging is quite good.
While this definitely isn’t a replacement for foundation, it’s definitely a nice product for less-makeup days, or for touch-ups on the go.
Edit: I’m giving this an extra star after getting much better coverage with a kabuki brush. I’ve started to use it quite a bit when I’m in a rush.
