I really like the packaging of this product. There is a snap open lid with a mirror inside, then there is a plastic stopper to keep the holes plugged so that powder doesn’t come flying out at you. The powder itself is super silky soft and the formula contains only 5 ingredients: Talc, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides. For a drugstore powder it is probably my top choice, although I don’t use much powder on my dry skin. But when I do this is one I reach for.

I wish I can just reply to one of the reviews but I do not know how. So I just have to add this as a review. It was mentioned negatively that this product does not provide any change in complexion. However, is it not generally expected that TRANSLUCENT powder has no coverage, as implied by the name “translucent”? It was also mentioned that the powder “fell off”. I am personally curious about how did it happen. Was too much powder applied? Was the skin dry? In the latter case we shouldn’t expect loose powder to stick to dry skin. Even if it does stick, it might give a powdery look (which might or might not be desirable). To help the powder stick, it is possible to better moisturize, use a less matte foundation and/or use a spray.

Shoppers drugmart sells this product on their shelves. The display of lights around this makes you look twice.
I have light skin, oily on the T-Zone, larger pores around the nose, and dark circles when I lack sleep. SO…
I had to buy the powder to try it out. I’m always curious about new makeup. BUT…
The quality of this is very poor. All other drugstore make up brands are better. Rimmel is better, Covergirl is better, Revlon is better, NYC, Maybelline, etc. There was no change in my complexion after applying it. I applied primer and other conceals in small areas. Oh, I also had to apply it twice on my face. I think it just fell off my face the first time. So… this does nothing for me.
After wearing it a few hours, my skin looked tired and worn.
PROs: very light to wear, low cost ($12)

Out of every powder I’ve tried (Mostly just NYC and CoverGirl) this is now my go-to. My previous face powders were all pressed. I use translucent so I can let my true skin color (or foundation) show through. I couldn’t find pressed powder when I went to check out the Joe Fresh line, but was very satisfied with other products from their line, so wanted to give the loose powder a try.
It is so much better. The container is very convenient. The loose powder is held in the bottom, but there is a sealed center compartment. Simply shake the container and just the right amount of powder comes into that section. Then use a powder brush to evenly apply.
This powder is perfectly mattifying on my dry/oily combo skin. It does not show, and it sets everything for all-day wear. Love!
