I’m normally not picky about setting powders and will often grab anything off the shelf that promises to get the job done. The flip side of this is, at the height of summer when I need to powder my entire freaking face to stop it from becoming an oil slick by the end of the day, my skin often *looks* powdery and dry even from a distance. MUR’s powder does not give this effect. Granted, I layer quite a bit of it over sunscreen, moisturizer, and foundation, but it all meshes together for a lovely skin-like appearance. My little nit-picks are that it has an odd musty smell (no adverse effects on my skin, though) and the packaging doesn’t allow it to lay flat on a counter. Other than that, I’m happy to have stumbled upon this product!

I was so excited to see this come out. It’s hard to find brightening under eye powders for pale skin. I have the white shade. Previously, I was using stargazer white powder. It was really thick and looked cakey. This one is lightweight and less pigmented. It’s pigmented enough to brighten, but not look chunky. I like to set my under eyes with a loose translucent powder then put this on top. I really like this powder and would repurchase! I wish they would come out with a really pale ivory color that would brighten but not be as stark as white.
