I’m comparing this to the Rimmel Stay Matte and this is way better than that. It has an acne fighting ingredient that I swear helps keep me matte just a little bit longer, the packaging is nice because it comes with a mirror and actually closes shut (unlike Rimmel Stay Matte). This has not broken me out and the only thing I complain about is that I wish it was just a bit cheaper. It’s around $7 at Walmart, but because it’s so good, I don’t mind spending the money.

This was not a bad powder and it was ok as far as helping with my shine.
I would not say it was great but it worked and was one of the better drugstore powders I have tried.
I used it usually as a foundation over concealer and it worked pretty well.
Not the best coverage but that’s not what it was meant to do in the first place.
As far as controlling my oil it didn’t but it held up pretty well considering and it also did not cause any breakouts. I do prefer this as a touch-up powder throughout the day if needed.
I did read that this could be used overnight which I was on the fence about. I did test this on one side of my face in one small area as a test to see what would happen. I did this for just about 2 weeks.
Results were quite surprising. The side I used it on did not break out at all!. The blemishes I already had in that area were clearing up faster than my other side that I did not use this on.
Very surprising.
I did stop though because I do not want to wear makeup on my face at night obviously but it was nice to know that if I did sleep in it nothing bad happened.
I am on the fence about repurchasing only because of the price and because the shades are not the greatest.

This powder works wonders of you’re dealing with acne and oily skin. I have used this powder for about 5 years now and I love it. Not only excited for being there for my imperfections but also excited and thankful that I no longer have to wait to go all the way to Tijuana to go buy it. It is now available in Walgreens!!! I literally teared up when I saw this on commercials, because this is a powder I cannot leave the house with. I need to carry it on me for touch ups. The price is definitely worth it i surely don’t regret wasting 8 dollars on this product. The sponge that comes with it, I don’t use it simply because I am used to using a powdered brush. I like the way the powder applies to my skin with the powdered brush. It evens out with my skin tone which makes me feel good about myself. On regular days I apply another drugstore foundation and the apply the powder. On rainy or lazy days I just apply the powder to give me the natural whatever look. I have not tried sleeping with it on because I feel as if I will breakout so much but I am willing to try just a dab on a spot to see how it goes.
Must try!!

I have read countless make-up articles stating not to sleep with makeup on, I ignore them; I even do it all the time. The effects of sleeping with makeup include clogged pores, dry skin, and acne. I purposely put on my make-up on before heading to bed because after wearing my makeup overnight, as my skin feels smoother, clean, and refreshed. In the process of the night, it reduces and prevents my acne breakouts. I do not have perfect skin I just use Asepxia.
Asepxia is a product line made by the Genomma Company in Mexico. It is a product line that helps decrease the sight of the imperfections from acne. It absorbs from the direct pores in the skin while being a powder makeup. It originated in Mexico, and it is slowly but steadily spreading to America. It gives a solution for imperfections for any victim of acne. Asepxia contains two acids that aid in improving the skin complexion. Glycolic acid is a chemical that improves the skin by fading damaged caused by the sun, and high pigmentation. Glycolic brings out the natural appearance of the skin, and as a benefit making the skin softer. Salicylic acid aids the skin removal of the dead skin cells more easily preventing any present and future clog of skin pores.
The makeup is to be administered as needed to cover the small defaults in the skin caused by acne marks. “Antiacnil FP ® has been specially formulated for skin prone to generate imperfections.†As cited from http://www.asepxia.com. It works at a minuscule level matching the skin as closely as possible giving the result of shrinking pores, and finishing with a flawless complexion. This helps for when my skin is oily after a long day, all I do is apply a little Asepxia. It can be worn at night and in the day. I always carry it around just in case if I need to touch up on my imperfections.
I have random acne breakouts when I get stressed; I am eighteen years old and in college, making stress a constant side effect. When I feel bumps on my skin or I start to see the redness around my nose or forehead, I use my makeup. I like the fact that it is not dry, feels smooth, light, fresh, and it is not dewy. Compared to the E.L.F mineral foundation which clogs pores, defines wrinkles, and emphasizes the pores. E.L.F instead of being a cover up of imperfections enhances them, which I do not want.
I apply Asepxia on before I go to bed, and the next day my skin feels smooth, clean, and refreshed. It feels as if my skin could breathe and is unclogged. Asepxia is the only one of its kind product that prevents acne while having on makeup. The price for the makeup varies depending on where one may get it. One can get it at Walgreen for eight dollars; online on Ebay it cost twenty dollars, and on Amazon for seventeen dollars. The con is that not all Walgreen’s have the Asepxia product. One other thing I dislike is that the asepxia.com Website is not helpful in defining exactly where one can buy the products.
I recommend Asepxia if your skin has imperfections, and one needs a solution for oily skin, and acne breakouts. It takes a minimum of a day to show an effect. It all depends on following instructions, and sleeping with your Asepxia on in the night. Asepxia makeup makes my skin look clean, refreshed, flawless, and increase the boost in my confidence.

It clogged all pores in my nose and chin and I throw it out. It probably may be good for someone with a better skin, since ANYTHING non comedogenic will fill my pores.

so my (mexican) family has been ranting about these asepxia products being heaven-sent so I gave in and bought this compact at Walgreens. They’re this huge deal in mexico and it’s a powder that’s marketed saying to sleep with it on so it gets rid of acne. I have personally not done this yet and don’t plan on it because it’s kind of icky to me… your skin needs to BREATHE through the night, not be suffocated with makeup but I digress.
I bought this in the color “Natural Matte” and I’m a C5 in mac face and body, the undertone is completely red but somehow it works out because it makes me look kind of “sun-kissed” (how cheesy).
The color options are the following:
Claro Mate (Light Matte) suitable for really light skinned ladies with red undertones.
Beige Claro (Light Beige) suitable for those same really light skinned ladies but with yellow undertones.
Beige Mate (Beige Matte) suitable for literally “beige” tones up to NC40.
Natural Mate (Natural Matte) suitable for anything darker than NC40 with red undertones but not too friendly with darker indian/african american skin tones.
Matizante (Mattifier) translucent powder suitable for whoever wants to look gray and dull! (just kidding…I didn’t actually see this color in person so I really have no clue what it looks like).
ANYWAY FOR MY EXPERIENCE, I’ve used this for the past week and so far so good. I have really sensitive oily acne prone skin and this hasn’t broken me out and hasn’t clogged my pores despite having mineral oil as the third ingredient. It gives really good sheer to medium coverage without anything else on, doesn’t look cakey and looks like your actual skin. I will go ahead and say that continuous use resulted in a bit of redness in the end because my skin is just so sensitive but i adored the matte finish and the fact that it kept me oil free and I never had to blot while wearing it. I plan on wearing it whenever I know I have a really long day ahead of me.
The actual compact is really nice, it keeps the applicator sponge in a different compartment and it comes with a mirror. This is always amaaaaazing for touchups or getting ready on the go. The sponge sucks but the fact that this product is only 8 bucks at walgreens totally makes up for that! Just drop 3 more bucks on another set of sponges and get the most out of this! Applying this with a powder brush also works well and the product blends like a dream.
I plan to update this in the future once I have been using it longer but I will go ahead and say that my niece (15 and has been dealing with that pesky teenage acne) has gone through two of these and her face looks really good, she claims the product dries up her zits after two days.
Lastly, I do believe a lot of major cities in the US are carrying this. I am absolutely positive LA, Chicago, NYC, and major cities in Texas carry this in almost every drugstore.
