I bought this because it was super cheap, and a very unique neutral color. I’ve had it on for 3 days now and I got ONE chip on one of the nails that I didn’t properly “tip”. I used an Essence Gel base and top coat and it is lasting very well. The biggest thing I’ve noticed is how smooth and shiny it is. I actually am seriously shocked by the quality of this polish considering I paid less than a buck for it. Definitely worth it.

I bought this at the dollar store, but I’m still wishing I had saved the few dollars it cost me. This polish does everything I hate, and it’s unfortunate because the color really is nice. It seems to dry on everything EXCEPT my nails, sticking like crazy glue to my skin, cuticles, and drying near instantly on the neck of the bottle/the brush as you try to work with it.
Next time I’ll save my money and go for anything but the Wet n Wild polishes.

Love this greige neutral color, but the coverage is streaky, even with a good base coat, and it is lucky to last all day. I’m not a fan of this new WnW bottle design, either — the cap is clumsy, and always comes off the brush.

I have purchased many other Wet n Wild polishes and have mostly loved them. One of my ride or die colors (Under My Spell) is in fact a Wet n Wild polish. However, that polish is from the MegaLast line, which makes all the difference. This color, Yo Soy, is just…..it’s just a hot mess. Let me explain.
I have no problems with the color itself. The color of the polish is actually very unique in that it’s a beautiful dark taupe color that on my yellow undertoned skin does not read as a sheer, invisible nude. It’s a very beautiful color with a hint of grey to it. This color reminds me of coffee or cappucino. Its very beautiful, which is why I picked it up. Unfortunately, it is here that my love of this polish ends.
Wet n Wild reformulated the look of their Wildshine polishes a few years ago, and they changed the packaging. The only problem with this new packaging is that the weird, rectangular top does not stay on the nail polish brush. The second time I used this polish, I unscrewed the cap and the top came off in my hand. I was left with just the nail brush. It’s so awkward to hold that way. I also really prefer the wide nail brush over a traditional narrow one, and that combined with how hard it is to paint my nails using just a broken brush…..
The other bad thing about this polish is that after about five uses, the polish became extremely thick and goopy and just a general nightmare to work with. Other reviewers have said that it would benefit from a polish thinner, but I’m not about to go out and get a bottle if it’s just for one single polish. I’ll leave this on the shelf and pass it by next time.
For such a pretty color, its a shame that it performs so badly.

The color is to-die-for; the formula and packaging are terrible.
Yo Soy (458C) is a light beige cream color (no glitter or shimmer whatsoever.) Wet n Wild is one of my favorite drugstore brands and I’ve had luck with other versions of their nail polish. This was only like a dollar so I really can’t complain, but here are the problems I had with it:
– The packaging. The brush part detached from the lid after the first few uses (this happened on both of the other Wet n Wild wildshine nail colors that I got too), which makes it way too difficult to open.
– The first few times I used this I loved it. Then it turned super goopy. I don’t mind if a nail polish is somewhat sheer and I have to build it up, unless I’m trying to do that with an overly thick polish formula.
I keep trying to use this but it always comes out looking terrible so I have to slap a glitter polish or something over it. I’ll probably wind up throwing it away because why keep something that I don’t love? And if I’m going to spend the money on a nail polish thinner to try to make this work, I’d rather just buy a completely new nail polish since this one was so cheap.
I won’t buy any more of the wildshine nail colors from Wet n Wild, although I do enjoy the formula of their MegaLast nail polishes.

Great color but I agree with the comments of other reviews about needing a nail polish thinner. When the formula is exposed to air, it tends to thicken which makes it hard to work with. I’d repurchase because I enjoy the color a lot (it’s my go-to nail polish) but the formula needs work. I would only recommend this color if you have a nail polish thinner on hand and you really like the color.

Yo soy is a greige color that is more beige than grey. It is very inexepensive as with all Wet n Wild products. But the formula of this nail polish doesn’t compare to the megalast polishes. The formula was thick and the brush is standard (megalast has a thicker, curved brush). I had bought two colors (the other one being the pure white one) and both polishes had the same thick consistency, making it difficult to coat the nails evenly. The only way I was able to fix this problem is to add nail polish thinner, which you can purchase online or at Sally’s. For the price, I’m not too worried about it. But I would prefer if Wet n Wild add more solvent to these polishes so it isn’t as thick.

I LOVE this nail polish.
First and foremost, Wet n Wild does not test on animals, which is important.
Wet n Wild Wildshine nail color in 458C Yo Soy is THE BEST nude nail polish I have ever used. Considering the fact that this was 99 cents at WalMart that may seem like a bold claim, but it’s the truth.
The packaging of this is so cute too. Sturdy and well made. You get .41 fl. oz of product.
The color is your typical light nude/beige shade. There is no sparkle, glitter, or anything like that. It goes on pretty opaque but two coats looks better than one.
I did not find this to be goopy or difficult to work with at all. The applicator brush is also really nice.
Lasting power… I can get a good week of wear out of this with no chipping using a nice clear top coat.
EDIT 2/17/16: When I wrote this review I’d only used this product a couple of times. After about the 3rd or 4th time, the polish started getting extremely goopy (could probably be fixed with a polish thinner or something but I don’t have one and am not getting one) and the lid separated from the applicator. So when you try to open the polish, all you get is the black lid in your hand but the actual nail polish brush that you use to apply product remains screwed into the bottle. The packaging is cheap and broken, and this thickened to where it wasn’t usable in less than five applications. For the price I guess you can’t complain, but I’d rather spend more money on products that aren’t going to fall apart on me and will last longer.

Wet n wild repackaged thier polishes last year and the bottles now are sleek. I was drawn to yo soy which is a nude/beige color as it would be a cute color for spring. But I found the formula super goopy and difficult to apply. I don’t know if I got a bad bottle or what. I fave a lippie for the color.
