This is the second neon nail polish that I purchased from Color Club that ended up being a lot darker in real life than in the online swatches. Application is not great, some minor streaks, but after using 2 coats and a Seche Vite top coat, it looked decent. It’s a neon, and it’s matte on it’s own, so I do recommend a top coat. Online it looked to be a light, neon lime green. In real life it’s a dark lime green. I was looking for something lighter than this. If you buy this, just keep in mind that it’s a lot darker in real life than in any of the online photos. I did use a white base coat, so that wasn’t it. I paid about $8 for it online.

One of my favorites neon of the Electro Candy collection, which is strange considering how I typically don’t care much for greens. However Color Club really did an excellent job on the execution of a perfect neon green.
The slight blue green shimmer sheen apparent in all the neon colors in this lines of course is the most complementary in the green. It’s quite subtle but it really imparts a nice soft shimmer in the sunlight which works quite well with the stark neon-ness of the green.
I don’t know really how to describe the base color other than the prototypical neon green – it’s not too yellow, too blue and it’s definitely a bold neon, not slightly pastel or subdued.
What a Shock! Is more opaque than the neon yellow in this series, but no as opaque as the blue. I wouldn’t say application is terribly streaky, but these definitely don’t apply completely seamlessly – two decent coats and a thick top coat should smooth out all your problem spots.
I definitely got a few comments on this color, a couple positive, one jesting that it was hard to pay attention to me, as I talk with a great deal of hand gestures – because my nails were distracting!
