Viking In A Vinter Vonderland is from OPI Nordic 2014 Collection. This is the Fall/Winter Collection. This color is a deep deep purple with a tiny tint of blue undertone. It’s so blackened unless you are in natural daylight, it looks black in indoor. This color reminds me of OPI Lincoln Park After Dark. The color is so similar except this one has a more blue undertone than Lincoln Park After Dark.
The formula of Viking In A Vinter Wonderland and Lincoln Park After Dark is so different. The first one dries very quickly. Much quicker than the other one. The crème finish looks gorgeous and the opacity and eveness is good. Only takes two coats to achieve those outcomes. However, if not careful, it can stain your skin very easily as the pigmentation is very deep. That’s why before I apply this color, a good undercoat is important. When taking it off, I also use several cotton balls and gently take off from the base of the nails, not the skin so that it doesn’t stain my skin.
Generally speaking, this color is a perfect one for winter. A deep cool tone purple.
