   Victoria is a wine-toned vampy red shade, with a crelly finish. It is one of Nails inc’s staple “if you like the brand, then you’ll know this shade” polishes; it is part of the core line and every stockist of Nails inc polishes carries this shade in a regular creme formula, whilst the Nails inc site stocks the gel-effect mini, NailKale and 6-free formulas of this shade. I do love this polish, but I’ve removed a lippie as loads of polish brands make similar shades.

   The rich pigmentation of this shade is a delight – usually it’s a two coater, but sometimes I’ll only need one coat. Nails inc is a fabulous quality range – the quality of the formula is right next to China Glaze and OPI: the polish applies with no streaks, is fast drying, long lasting and has a nice shine and smoothness to it minus top coat. With a top coat I get up to 3 days of wear before it starts to chip. Seeing as I use a self-powered wheelchair, I’m thrilled with this. Family and friends who also use Nails inc say that they can go up to a week chip free, so it lasts a lot longer on people who aren’t quite so tough on their hands.

   I’m not really too sure how I feel about this polish… I may change my mind.
   Its a very dark red jelly. It dries very shiny like a gel. Probably thr shiniest polish I have ever owned! It looks lovely if you like the colour but for me, it’s too dark and looks black.
   The problem with this polish is that it is a complete pain to apply. The formula is very runny and I need at least 3 coats to get an even opace colour. However, if you can apply it right, it looks great.

   I love this colour. It looks especially good on short nails. But…. This polish needs 2 coats to get the right density, which wouldn’t be a problem, as I normally use 2 coats for all polishes, but if the 2nd coat doesn’t cover the 1st perfectly around the edges, it makes the nails look like they are bleeding. Also it takes very long time to dry, even with quick dry top coat. I am nearly at the end of my bottle and I decided I will not repurchase Victoria, instead I want to try some dupes, as there are many around.

   I totally agree with another reviewer – although two coats of Victoria gives you a deep, gorgeous berry (it looks darker in the bottle), this nail polish is far too streaky to apply well and takes too long to dry even with a fast-drying top coat. I find the narrow brush quite frustrating as well. I too am resigned to using it on my toes.

   This is the loveliest dark wine nail colour. I had been searching for this shade for quite a while but couldn’t find the right balance; everything else I came across was either too red/purple/black toned. Two coats of this result in a very dark berry/wine colour, so fashionable and looks fantastic on fingers and toes. I don’t usually wear dark nails but this colour is simply beautiful. It looks very elegant and suits my pale skin very well. The only fault I can find is that it starts chipping after 2-3 days without top coat, but I wash my hands a lot and with a top coat applied this lasts nearly one week! This will now be a staple in my nail colour collection.

   I’m on my 4th bottle of Victoria. If you’re wanting a nail polish that easily lasts a week then buy Nails Inc. A base coats, 2 coats of Nails Inc polishes then the old faithful Seche Vite topcoat means you can go 7 days without chipping.
   I have at least 30-40 bottles of Nails Inc polishes, and even though they’re £11 a bottle, they often do sets of 3 or 4 bottles for better value. Victoria is a beautiful very dark red/black colour (think Rouge Noir etc). It’s Nails Inc’s biggest selling colour apparently, and I can see why. I applies perfectly with 2 coats, goes on super glossy, looks soooo chic on both long and short nails, god I love this colour! Whenever I can’t think of a colour to apply to my nails (I’m ADDICTED to nail polish!), then Victoria is the one staple I always turn to.

   Extremely happy with the quality of this polish. The formula is a little thick, but I prefer that over thin and watery. You can make more than one pass with the brush, and it seems to level out so streaks are minimal. If you’re good at application, you might only need one coat even in a darker color like this. If you’re like me, you will need two, to even the polish out., It lasts longer than most other polishes IMO, and I almost like it better than my Lippmanns, Cheaper, too! “Victoria” is a blackend wine/red. I think it’s comparable to Chanel’s Rouge Noir, but more burgundy. “Black Wine” by Estee Lauder would be in the same family, This color can be worn during the day, as it’s very chic, or you can just as easily slap on a black lippie and go goth. Very versatile. It also lasts forever. Three days and no chipping or peeling, I will be buying more of these for sure. Just be aware that the bottle color isn’t necessarily the color you’ll get, One lippie off for the slighty smaller bottle, but it’s not an issue for me as I’ve never finished a bottle of polish in my life!
   EDIT****I am so in love with this brand, I got a full week with this, before getting one tiny chip that could easily be fixed. The amazing thing is I didn’t use base or top coat….just straight out of the bottle, I don’t think that’s ever happened before! When this dries, it almost becomes vinyl like…it absorbs bumps that would chip lesser polish, I have two new colors on the way!
