This berry red shimmer is GEORGOUS! Kind of the sparkle free cousin of It’s 5 O’Clock somewhere. This is stunning on my pale neutral tips. Great coverage, wore well.

The only reason I wouldn’t buy China Glaze’s Vertical Rush (77035) again is because it’s so close to two recent OPI colors, and because Vertical Rush is a little frosty. Just frosty enough to show a few more brushstrokes than OPI’s Call My M-Agent-A and I’ve “Red” the Script. Most people could choose one polish from those three and be perfectly happy. There really isn’t a lot that separates the three (though China Glaze is cheaper than OPI), but there are differences. CMM is just a little lighter raspberry with less dark purple in it’s base and is slightly less shimmery because VR’s shimmer is lighter and its base is darker. IRTS is more muted (in color and shimmer and overall finish) with maybe a lighter purple touch to its base than VR has. Any one of the three would be a good choice, but I personally prefer CMM out of all three. I give VR a 3.75 lippie rating.
Vertical Rush is from China Glaze’s summer or fall 2007 Ski collection.
