Up In Charms in a soft pink shade from Revlon’s newer Gel Envy Colorstay line. This is a core color and I found it for $5 at HEB and used a $2 off coupon getting this beauty for only $3. That is a deal for a Revlon polish. I thought this was going to be an opaque crème, but no it’s a sheer polish and it reminds me very much of OPI’s Bubble Bath or Essie’s Ballet Slippers so if you like those, this will save you a few dollars as those are both around $8.50-9.00 retail now depending on where you are shopping. This is actually a really good formula and this isn’t thin and runny at all. It does go on a little streaky so use careful application but with thin coats you can get this with fewest streaks. It took me 3 coats to get the look pictured and there is still visible nail line, but this does build up nicely and it dries pretty fast too. I like the brush on this one. It’s a single flat paddle brush but it’s thick and is very flexible and fans out beautifully to hug the curves on my nails and it gets even the edges painted nicely. I love the way the brush and polish work together and this stuff glides right on so smoothly and it feels like top quality lacquer when painting with it. This is supposed to have the base coat built right in, but I have to go with tradition and use my regular protective nail strengthening base coat first. I used 3 easy coats of this polish and then a top coat of the Colorstay Gel Envy Diamond top coat. All of this polish dried rather quickly too. I didn’t expect that. This is such a lovely neutral and it’s a great mainstay for any polish collection. This will work for any event, every day, office friendly, and it’s still chic. The top coat makes this super shiny and glossy. This isn’t a real gel polish, no it’s gel like or as Revlon calls it “Gel Envy” meaning it’s regular polish with a fancy name. I like this formula and the polishes from this line I’ve tried so well that I plan on picking up several more. I have seen some of these at Big Lots! with the polish and top coat in a special duo pack and it’s a real bargain at $5 for the set as a single polish costs that much alone.
