There is nothing I like about this stuff. It ruined my nails. I purchased in the color “In the balance” which is a white color with a tinge of gray. First of all, the color does not apply evenly. Maybe if you used 3 coats you could get even coverage, but you are not supposed to use more than 2 coats so I end up with some streaks. Secondly, it does not wear well at all. I’ve ended up with chips on the same day as application or by the second day each time I’ve used it. Lastly, it made my nails WORSE. I applied this multiple times over a 3 weeks period. I had no peeling or splitting before I started using it, and my nails were not brittle or breaking easily. Fast forward to today, literally more than half my nails are now peeling and the other ones have been either breaking or getting side-tears for no good reason. I had my nails the length and strength I wanted them when I started using this, just wanted to make them even stronger/healthier. Today I had to cut them all down, to where the moon starts, and start the growing process all over again. This polish is going in the trash and I do NOT recommend trying it.
Updating on 4/10/19- It’s two months later, and even though I cut my nails all the way down and let them grow back they still shows signs of peeling and are softer than they were at the tips. I am hoping it’s just until the very last bit of the nail I applied this to grows all the way out, but we will see. I am using Nailtiques Formula 2 Plus, which is helping a great deal to combat the softness and peeling. Also, I called Essie and they sent me a check for my $11 back. It took me 3 emails and 2 phone calls to accomplish that. Not good.

I haven’t been very good about nail care and have repeatedly had dip and gel manicures back to back for years. Needless to say my nails were pretty thin from repeatedly being filed down with a rotary file. Since my nails were paper thin I had a lot of issues with splitting and breaking. I had tried OPI Nail Envy first, the OPI was pricey and had to be applied every other day. Essie has nail strengthener in several sheer to nude shades and is almost half the price of OPI. Tinted Love is a sheer pink that almost leans to rose gold, it does have micro glitter, but once applied it really makes nails looks healthy and not done up. This is a nice choice over clear polish if you just want to have something on or if you need to rehab your nails. since this particular shade is so sheer it would also be nice for young girls who aren’t quite old enough for makeup, it’s also a good shade if you want something very understated and sophisticated.

Really great product, fast working and has made my nails amazingly strong. The colour is very subtle, and has a slight shimmer. Can be a bit expensive but if you shop around you can get a bargain! Comes in a plastic box style package, which is unnecessary, but the bottle itself is cute and simple.

I had already purchased and used Sheers to You in this brand, and was looking for something a little darker. I really like how Tinted Love looks like My Nails But Better! I don’t know if the claims of this polish being a strengthener are valid based on my nails; but, I can say that my nails certainly aren’t any worse for using this product. The polish is very translucent, with a little bit of sheen to it. It’s a lovely, natural effect. It’s long-wearing for me, almost a week with no tip wear or chipping. The brush is nice, the formula is nice too. It’s a winner for me! If you’re looking for a natural look that’s easy to work with and doesn’t damage your nails, this is it.
