Time for a Napa is a mid coral, cream polish. It is part of OPI’s summer 2017 collection, California Dreaming. When I first put it on my first thought was that it looks very similar to Essie Cute As A Button (I haven’t physically compared the two).
I marked it down for the formula – it is not self levelling. I applied 2 coats and I thought that the coverage was ok, so I left it at that. But, the following day in better lighting I could see thinner patches on the nails which have more pronounced ridges. So, potentially you can get away with 2 coats, but only if you are good at applying polish, don’t have any ridges and if you are not as critical as me. Otherwise, I would recommend 3 coats. I had no problem with drying or wear time.
It is not a bad polish, but there are plenty of better corals out there.

I like the shade of Time For A Napa a lot, but unfortunately the formula is not very good. Firstly, the colour is a pretty shade of peachy-coral with a hint of pink. This would suit most skin tones, particularly warmer tones. It is a fun summer colour, bright without being too much. It’s a happy, cheerful colour for the Spring/Summer seasons. Unfortunately the formula is a let down. Firstly, it applies very streakily and is not particularly good at self levelling. It needs at least three coats to be fully opaque and not streaky. It is quite tricky to apply. You need a steady hand and slightly thicker coats than normal. It does dry quickly and to a shiny finish, but doesn’t last well. It only wore two days on me before chipping, when paired with base and top coat. Usually OPIs last around 5 days on me, so 2 is unacceptable, especially seeing as OPIs are quite expensive. I cannot recommend this colour unfortunately. Try Essie’s Lounge Lover instead if you want a similar shade.

Time for a Napa is part of OPI’s summer 2017 collection, California Dreaming. It’s a bright (but not neon-bright) coral pink crème, very summery. I think it would be particularly flattering on someone with a tan because of its warm tones. Application and wear time are both very good.
