This is my favourite red varnish. It is a lovely deep shade with shimmer. Needs two coats but it has good coverage with just one.

I actually really love this red. I’m a huge OPI Malaga Wine fan, the perfect wine red. But needed to shake it up and this is really fresh. It may be similar to some other OPI colors – I do notice they repeat. That said, I’m judging not on whether it’s creative or new but solely on how it looks. And it looks “juicy”… a lively, shimmery, bold red. I’m very fair skinned and this red works really well for me. Definitely not a mani color – I’m solely relegating this color to pedis. But that said, it looks bright and happy, can be modern but also classical at the same time. It’s hard to find a shimmery, bold shade that remains a bit “neutral” at the same time. This does (at least for me).

Looks fabulous on my skin w/o a tan and looks great with black, nude or gold sandals.

The only thing I wish OPI did was make smaller bottles…but that has little to do with this review!

I received this lacquer as part of the mini set in a swap so don’t suppose I can grumble too much. As someone else has mentioned it is very similar to An Affair in Red Square which I also own. Will save this mini bottle for pedis only probably.
