This is my first Orly polish and it’s a beautiful color, more of a warm dusty berry than a mauve. The formula is very smooth and a great consistency (at least to start with — eight months in it goes goopy and unusable, hence the downgrade from 4 to 3 stars). It wears like iron for about a week under Seche Vite. I love the rubber grips on the lid, but am not loving the tiny brush.

This is like a warmed berry color that gives a sophisticated bling to both toes and fingernails. I consider this my summer red. Looks great on nc30 skin and formula is great. I get compliments on the regular and miss it so mu h when I switch out color.

Great color, excellent formula. I have so many clumpy gross polishes that I forget how easy Orly is to apply. Bottle is a year old and still perfect.

This has got to be is one of my top three favorite nail polish colors of all times. It looks really flattering on my skin tone (perfect balance of cool and warm tones) and somehow strikes the perfect balance for my taste– it’s not too garish/bright/young but also not too boring/dull/old lady. I literally wore this color on my toes for about a year straight before finally deciding I should at least have it in a rotation with a few other polishes. I’ll probably wear it on my wedding day, that’s how much I like it. The formulation of this is also phenomenal. It’s very pigmented and creamy, it doesn’t bubble, and it leaves a brilliant shine. It’s also very long lasting. Like the other Orly polishes, the packaging and brush is excellent, too. All around, I’d recommend this polish to anyone. 🙂

Darker than I expected, but still a great color for toenails. I think the formula is a little thick, but this might just be a result of the heavy pigmentation. It is very durable; I applied this a day or two prior to hiking over 20 miles and it has held up for a week beyond without a single chip…that’s impressive for a dark color that would typically show every flaw!

This was my first time using an Orly Nailpolish as I recently went on a drugstore rampage whilst visiting the USA (it is sinful how cheap everything is in the states compared to Australia) in any case I bought this on a whim as I loved the colour and it ended up being a fantastic buy as not only is the colour a gorgous dusty pink/plum but it also seems to be extremely chip resistant! For a manicure to last more than 2 days without a single chip is a miracle for me and Orly has so far delivered….. might have to bite the bullet and get a few more colours even if they are $20 each over here.

This is an absolutely GORGEOUS color! I’m not sure how to best describe it…it’s rosy, dusty, plummy. An awesome alternative to the classic red.
The formula on this was spectacular…almost a one-coater, but I used two for complete coverage. Super shiny and did NOT stain! Major plus for a “red”.
I highly recommend!

Great all season color!! I love it! It does look a more mauve in the bottle but when applied to nails it’s more plum. With two coats you get a nice opaque color. Love love love it!!!

Aw im so sad to hear this got a bad review. I really adore this color. On me i feel like its such a nice sophisticated/office/work shade. Nothing too bright or dark, just a nice mauvey berry shade. Works well with my tanned asian skin tone.

I have to admit that every time I use Orly nail polish I think of the “O rly? Ya rly!” owls, hehe. This is MUCH more purple and darker than I expected. I’m tempted to call it a pinky plum as opposed to a true mauve, especially with two or three coats. Surprisingly sort of vampy for something so old sounding because of the word “mauve!” I totally changed my mind on this color-I thought it was boring but have realized it’s a totally unique creme I can’t match in any other brand and I always get compliments when I wear it, so Terra Mauve is here to stay in my collection.
