Love this color. It is a purple, creamy taupe shade.
I love to apply this to my toes and top them off with a coat or two of spitfire glitter by Pure Ice and girl on the run top coat (I prefer Purple Reign more on my toes but I can rarely find it and this color more on my fingernails). It looks very lovely and so sparkly when the light hits it, especially pretty during summertime. Lasts a very long time before I need to remove and reapply.

Loved this color! It has lasted me for years and the color is a perfect creamy taupe. I wore this color daily and it was a staple in my polish collection. It has dried out and has separated. I will definitely repurchase especially since they cost only $2!

I have the plum version of Taupe Drawer. It’s matte, neutral and boring. It caught my attention in the nail polish aisle, but on my fingernails it doesn’t create drama or interest.

I picked this up at Wal-Mart on a whim. It is a great shade of purple and gray. I received many compliments on my Taupe Drawer manicure! They released this color prior to the wave of “greige” tones that have hit the market during the past year or two, which made it quite unusual at the time that I purchased it. Definitely the best quality polish I have purchased for under $2.

First of all, there are two Pure Ice Polishes called “Taupe Drawer”. I am reviewing the more purple of the two (the other is rosier). I have no clue why either is called Taupe Drawer. This polish is definitely mauve. It looks better on than in the bottle (definitely more purple on the nail). Oh, and it’s a jelly!
Application and wear are average for me.

I LOVE pure ice nail polishes. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like to spend more than $3 on a nail polish because I like to collect a variety of colors. This is perfect for $2. I have 6 pure ice nail polishes and I’m just starting to collect them. I love this color because it is the prettiest neutral I own (perfect for fall/winter). I’ve painted my nails with this so many times already and I’ve bought this about 3 months ago. This color looks a lot like metro chic (but a LOT less cheaper). 2 coats is all I need and the color becomes opaque enough for me. I would buy this again.

I’ve had this color for many months now – I absolutely love it. People are always saying nice things about it – and want to know where it was purchased. It’s like a ‘creamy darker purple’. I’ll definitely buy another if necessary.

I absolutely love this color. It has the appearance of purple without being cool toned, which I love. I’m fair skinned with cool undertones, so I find that cool colors on my nails wash me out. This color is so great. I was pleasantly surprised & I only spent $2 on it. The quality is much better than expected for such a cheap polish. This is one of my go-to colors. Casual, but also really fun. Oh, and most importantly— no glitter at all. completely matte, which is always a plus for me!

First of all, I just found out there was two products of the same name? Surprise surprise, I got the MAUVE color, NOT the purple, just wanted to make that clear. Okay, this is not how it looks like in the bottle, it’s actually darker when you apply it, weird? Yes. It’s a rich, dark(ish?) mauve or deep, rich pink. It’s hard to describe but it’s really pretty. :]
Like every Pure Ice nail polishes, it applies really well, no need for a second coat or going over it, stroke it once or twice per nail and you’re done, but then again, maybe every new polish is like that. The color shows up REALLY well though so even if it gets old, I think it’d still be fantastic. It dries pretty quick so no need to wait for half an hour, I didn’t time it but around 3 minutes or so? Or less.

Love this color! Picked it up on a whim, first nail polish I’ve ever worn for more than a day….wore it for a week, then re-painted! Not sure what the Pure Ice line is made with, but this dried within 5 minutes, no streaks. Great with two coats, didn’t chip for awhile. This is coming from someone who never really liked nail polish!
