Yellow is one of my most problematic colours. I bought this on a whim, since I’ve found that neons tend to work realy well with my pale, pink-and-blue cool complexion, and I wanted to find a yellow or two that would actually work for me. This one does, possibly because it’s a lemon yellow and so has a green edge, but also because it’s a neon.
Unusually for a neon, this has a little bit of shimmer in it to give it some lift. The dry down is not matte like many neons, but more of a satin-shimmer. However, I think this really, really needs a top coat to smooth it out, because the formula is not great. It’s somewhat streaky, on the thick side, a little hard to control, and it tends to show the brush marks in the shimmer/pearl effect. I had to use three coats to get a nice, even finish, which is not, sadly, all that unusual for a neon polish.
So, fun, playful colour, but a difficult formula that takes some finessing to get it to behave. I think the end result is probably worth the hassle.

I would like to give this a five because I really like the color and think the texture makes it super unique but I am not a huge fan of the application. The color is the typical bright highlighter yellow but with a bit more green and shimmer than other similar polishes out there (every brand has one now). The color is eye catching and kind of crazy but can be worn elegantly (maybe not lol) but I got a lot of compliments wearing it from people that do not really like crazy colors. The application is quite streaky and thick but once you apply a top coat it looks nice and even. It definitely is thicker and goopier than the other polishes in the collection, but I definitely recommend it.
