The formula is good – thicker and easier to work with than some Essie (opaque in 2 coats, no streaks). The color is a vivid turquoise, and as a previous reviewer mentioned, it is very similar to OPI’s Ogre the Top Blue from the Shrek collection. A little like a smurf. It’s not a terribly unique shade, and I feel that others have a bit more pop and/or shine, so while I like this a lot, I won’t repurchase because I like the others better. Caution: like most blues, this stains a bit, so consider a base coat.

This is a beautiful, vivid turquoise creme polish. It dries to a bright and shiny finish. It’s a tropical, summery blue, and bright without being obnoxious. The formula is not the easiest to work with, though. It’s thin, as Essie polish often is, and goes on quite streaky. It takes 2-3 coats to make it opaque. I did two, thought it looked opaque, but when I got it outside in sunlight I could see some patches and streaks. So, beautiful color, and it’s worth taking the time to work with it, I just wish it laid down on the nail a bit better. I love this color so I’d definitely repurchase.

A good quality, very bright blue – almost neon. It applies fairly well, though takes 3 coats to become opaque and can be slightly streaky. It is a fun summer colour and suits my warm toned skin very well. It lasts for about a week without chipping.

I love this color – a very bright, bold pop of blue! Definitely a true blue – no surprising undertones. Looks very similar in the bottle as it does on the nails. Two coats provides a pretty good opaque color but I can see some streaking so I will do three coats. One of the only downsides is that the polish is a little watery, which makes it hard to get even coats (hence the need for three good coats).
