Not at all useful. I tried to apply these to my toes, but it was nearly impossible to file down the top of the strip. The directions say to fold it over and then file, but that will not work if the nails don’t overhang. But, there is no way to know that until AFTER opening the package. Once I gave up (2 toes in) it was far too easy to peel off the strips. I noticed the directions say that cuticle oil will make them easier to remove, which leads me to believe that lotion would be problematic.
I will go back to my trusty Sally Hansen strips to get the patterns I love in my toes.

Patterns and prints are unique and vivid, while still retaining a “neutral” quality (if that makes any sense?). Seemed less gaudy than the other brands of similar products available on the market. Application had a bit of a learning curve as this was my first time using anything of the sort. It’s basically like applying a sticker/decal on top of your nail. If your nail beds are curved, you can get wrinkles and bubbles. I’ve heard that some patterns disintegrate with the application of a top coat which is frustrating.
I tried “embrace the lace” because it seemed to the be the one pattern that everyone was raving about. It didn’t look great on me but I think it would work well on lighter skin tones. It also seemed less forgiving in application and uncovered edges seemed more obvious. I might have read that “embrace the lace” did not work well with a top coat. Next I tried “oh my gold” and thought it was easier to apply (Additionally, I did a clear top coat on top of this to smooth out the wrinkles and help with the “sticker-on-nail” feeling). I really think “oh my gold” would look ah-mazing over a polish color… dark navy, pastel blues or turquoise, pearly white, dark red, etc, etc. I also felt imperfect (or uncovered) edges were not as noticeable with “oh my gold” being mostly clear.
The main drawback for me would be the lasting power. I think this would go only a day or two before beginning to unravel which is disappointing given the price tag and claims. It also seems somewhat over-priced for stickers… but the color combinations are just overall better than the competition.
I would only repurchase this for a special occasion where I just need my nails to look fab for a short amount of time.
