Revlon Nail Enamel in Sheer Rose is one of my favorite shades! I am not sure why somebody commented this was discontinued since it can literally be bought in stores. This shade is soft pink & beige mixed together. It’s both rose colored & natural, but it looks like it wants to be flesh-toned or nude. The application was quick & easy; still, it took 3 coats instead of the usual 2 to get the look I wanted. It’s a lot sheerer than I thought it would be! The shade truly is prettier opaque than sheer in my opinion. The only thing I dislike about it is that it takes a long time to dry or set, & I’m assuming that’s because the formula is borderline watery. I highly recommend this subtle polish shade! For a $2 or $3 polish, it’s great.

Color: I wouldn’t really call this a rose color, its more of a nude with shimmer. 3 coats were needed to achieve an even opaque finish. One coat could be used if you just want a sheer was of color. Perfect natural nude appropriate for work or any business conservative environment.
Application: The application can be a bit tricky, since it can tend to go on uneven and bumpy when you do a second or third coat. The key is to use the least amount of strokes possible to prevent a bumpy texture. Overall, very classy and chic looking on the nails.

I bought this based on reviews. Sadly, it’s discontinued.
It reminds me of a former Shiseido color I wore years ago, I think it was called Nude. It was a slightly sheer, slightly shimmery tone, and I wore it all the time. It was dressy, office-appropriate, and just plain pretty. Sheer Rose isn’t really rose on me, more of a rosy-nude, but that’s exactly what I wanted. I’ve just returned to Revlon after a many years’ hiatus, and I find the quality to be superb. I like the brush especially; better than my Rescue Beauty brushes. When I last checked, there were a lot of bottles of Sheer Rose on eBay, many with free shipping.

One of my absolute favorite Revlon polishes. I’m very upset that they have discontinued this shade, to make way for a ‘new age’ range of shades, which I still love, because I love Revlon polishes in general. I think the Revlon formula is as good as it gets when it comes to drugstore.
This polish has been with me for so long, standing by my side as the perfect ‘my-nail-but-better’ shade. It reaches a nice opacity in two coats, but I find that three coats is best to get an even, opaque application, since this is a tad bit on the sheer side.
The way I can describe this color: a Band-Aid colored soft muted pink with a nice silver shimmer. Very glossy, very smooth. I like that it doesn’t wash my hands out. Truly a work appropriate color. This lasts about four days, no chips, with base coat and topcoat. I truly think this is one of Revlon’s better colors in the ‘Sheer’ line, and I will surely miss it. It applied almost flawlessly, without a single streak. But all the Chanel dupes in the new lineup are bound to keep me interested for a while.

I’ve been looking for the PERFECT light pink nail polish – an opaque pink french manicure color. While this is not what I was looking for, I still adore this pretty pink. It’s a beige toned pink with tiny silver shimmers. The shimmers definitely keep this color from being boring. It’s not loud, work appropriate, wearable year-round, and complements a neutral outfit very well. The application was quit nice and opaque with 2 coats. What really impresses me most about this polish is its lasting power. While I only wore it for 4-5 days, I had no chipping and could have probably gone a week+ with no issue. Would definitely buy again.

It was love at first sight. But it chips too easily and is too translucent at the end of my nail.
It also makes me look like there are band-aids on all m fingers lol. Yes, I agree with the other lady, this is better for darker or freakishly light-skinned gals.

MY Nail But Better. I found my MNBB!!
Well, actually my own nail bed is a bit pinker. And it is darker than my hand. But this one can blend my nail with my finger.
Sheer Rose did the job i have hoped for “gray suede”. gray suede did not look natual on my finger, but looked like dry foudation or mud. Sheer Rose, with its tiny shimmer and bit of pink, looks quite chic.
I highly recommend it. I will wear it in my next job interview and first 2 month of my new job. Ha.

Turns out it is too dark for my hand in the summer. (My hand turns whitish when temp rises. Anybody else got white summer hands?)

I can’t help but compare this to OPi Dulche De Leche – because it is the SAME color.
Opi costs twice more, and OPI is STREAKY and HARDER to flawlessly put on compared to this. This just slides on easily and I don’t have to do-redo etc. (and I didn’t even use a primer with this. It is impossible to use OPi without the primer).
So far I am loving it – but I JUST put it on so I am not sure how long it will last before chipping. But I have had only good experience with revlon nailpolish so far and don’t plan on buying another OPi.

i have finally found a soft pink shade, i’ve been looking for it everywhere, and its revlon’s #011, sheer rose. On my skintone, the color shows as a pale pink, and its highly glossy once dry. Oh and it doesn’t take long to dry b/c i use a sally hansen quick dry spray with natural oils that dry’s polish in 30 seconds (well more like 10 minutes).
The finish is very subtle but the color is very pretty.
I think this color is actually meant for deeper toned women, tanned women, and women of color. It actually stands out on brown skin, on fair skin it might look washed out.

Its a weird colour. The best way I can describe it – is band-aid! I personally don’t mind it as a neutral but my husband says the color makes him sick LOL! Its is a peachy warm beige. I can’t really say that its sheer as on me only the very ends of the white tips are showing and not the whole white tip (with 2 coats). My bottle was quite runny (not thick like some have complained before). When you apply it almost looks streaky but when it dries the end result is even enough for me.
The overall impression is that it is an easy neutral to wear but it almost completely blends with the skin so its a bit weird…and yea I am not sure why its called rose!
I just don’t think the color and the formula are good enough to buy again.
