Pricing: I bought it on Amazon for about 18 dollars, as I recall. A tiny bit cheaper than at the store, but not by much, While I don’t absolutely regret my purchase, I don’t feel great about what I got for the price. It’s the same OPI polish you would get for about 7-9 bucks, but because they added the two swarovski HK bows, they really ramped up the pricing.
Packaging: I wasn’t really fond of the packaging because the little white lid that makes it a HK polish is just a plastic cellophane cover that comes off with a twist of the lid. I would have appreciated a special cap for the limited edition and pricing, but it isn’t a dealbreaker. It’s just an opinion. Also, the white plastic really gets in the way by taking away friction from the cap of the container when you are trying to open it, so I had to get rid of it in order to use it. The whole thing comes in a small paper black box and they compartmentalize the nailpolish and the bows in the box.
Swarovski bows: I actually didn’t have much use for them as I was just interested in the polish. There are two clear (with silver backing) bows in the package and are stuck onto a white piece of plastic with another piece of clear plastic over them for shipment safety. They are quite small, but have a nice 3d shape. However, I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between them and some cheap plastic bows that came in bulk from Daiso, if they were to be mixed up together.
Polish Color: The main event! I liked the color, but it wasn’t exactly amazing to me. Sort of on the fence because of the pricing. It’s sort of a rose gold pink to me. So it’s a magenta base with tons of shimmer in there. I didn’t notice the blue shimmer that a lot of people are talking about. To me its more of a white gold super finely milled shimmer (tons of it!) and just the magenta base color. So much so that it’s almost got that metallic feel to it. Right off the bat, it actually reminds me of a pinker orange marmalade by China Glaze. With the orange top coat I put on (because it was the closest one to me while I was applying) it really strengthened that similarity.
Wear time: Great wear, no chips in almost 7 days and going strong with OPI sheer tints orange top coat on top, but it does crack. Might be just that I wash my hands a lot with hot water, not sure. However, because of the shimmer and opaque color its not noticeable from past a foot away. It started cracking on day 3 or so I believe. Tip wear is also EXTREMELY minimal. Still a tiny bit, so I had to mention it, but wears great even after a week.
Overall: I would say it’s an okay purchase if you see it on sale for like around 9 bucks eventually, but it isn’t anything special. For me it definitely is NOT a must have. While I didn’t own any dupes of this color I also felt like it wasn’t very unique. Also its not a color I would reach for a lot or think about using super often, but would be a nice fun summertime color for going out with the girls or a day time coffee date.

Say Hello Kitty is a new product by OPI which was released as a special edition polish from their Hello Kitty collection. This polish is not available as part of the standard collection but comes in a special set with a couple of Swarovski crystal bow decals and a small tube of nail glue. As such, it is slightly more expensive than a standard bottle of OPI polish. The bottle also comes with a Hello Kitty wrapper around the lid The colour itself is a dark pink with pink and gold shimmer and a foil finish. The colour applied smoothly and was opaque in two coats. It lasted a long time without chipping, and only suffered from minimal tip-wear, even though I type a lot. This colour would look especially good on olive or tanned skin tones, it is perfect for summer. This is a very special polish and I would definitely recommend it.
