This stained my nails yellow. I liked the color but I’m going to throw it out. That’s what I get for buying super cheap polish

Sinful Colors is one of my favorite polish brands and this colour is sorta okay. To me Savage is more of a toenail colour as it looks a whole lot better on toes then on fingers in my opinion (i did use a basecoat on both when i tried it out). This is probably because the colour is not at all that bright and more poppy colours are seen better on fingernails.
All in all, this colour is ok but i would recommend a different colour if you’re looking for polish that looks good as a manicure.

I love the color of the polish, but the problem was it was just too freaking thick. One thick layer of polish that dries matte = ended up looking like tar on my nails. A top coat didn’t help matters either. I ended up giving it away.

I really like the color of this polish and how long it lasted (four days and even then it was only a couple of barely noticable chips), however it stained my nails terribly, which in my case wasn’t so bad as I painted them another color immediately but it could be troublesome if you desired going without polish, your nails will look bruised.
The polish is a matte finish, I liked that but if that isn’t your thing you should be prepared to use a top coat. All things considered I think it is worth $1.99, just be aware it stains the nails and has a matte finish.

Well, imagine my surprise after applying the first coat: this polish has a matte finish. I wasn’t expecting it, but figured that could easily be taken care of with a shiny top coat (NYC’s Grand Central Station for me!).
It is opaque in one coat, but as is habit, I applied a second coat. I don’t mind the Sinful brushes too much – they’re small-ish and let me have a cleaner finish.
It seems okay for now, but I think I’ll be back to comment on its lasting power, and to see if it stains my nails – I use Sinful’s base coat, so maybe I’ll be okay?
Tip for stained nails: 1 teaspoon water, 4 teaspoons baking soda, and a few minutes of soaking! I haven’t tried it myself, but it seems to be one of the common ways to whiten stained nails. I’ve no doubt that I may soon be trying this!

The color alone is worth it. Gorgeous. I have very blue undertones, but I can imagine it would look good on yellower ones as well, because it is a very sharp color. The matte finish after drying was a little surprising, I was probably more enchanted with it than some polish veterans would be. I’ve had it on for longer than ten hours which is unheard of on my nails, and the only chipping is from where I used my finger as a tool.

I really wanted to love this polish because Savage was such a pretty Robin’s Egg Blue. After about 4 topcoats. As other reviewers have said the formula dries matte which I like for some colors, but not this one. It looked flat and dull and even after all those top coats it started to look dull again after about the 2nd day of wear.
This is the worst staining I have ever experienced with any nail polish. I had to remove with acetone then buff my nails and they still had a bruised looking tint.
Application was fairly easy, as mattes typically are and the color was really pretty but I probably won’t buy this polish again because it was such a mess to remove.

Yes Sinful polishes are cheap and they do have cool colors – even dupes of expensive brands. I personally have not found the formula to work well for me. Savage however is extra problematic. It applied so-so and lasted a few days but it STAINS SO BAD! I used base coat as always and I am used to blues staining but this was something else! I had smurf fingers for days! Even after I tried every trick under the sun for lightening the stains, I had greenish nails for weeks. It’s been 2 months now and I swear I can still see a yellowish green tint on my nails. I know polish is a very personal thing and it may not stain so badly on everyone but this was a nightmare for me!

I have quite a few Sinful polishes, and I have a love-hate relationship with their formula.
Savage is a gorgeous very bright blue leaning teal matte that takes at least two coats to not be streaky. The drying time on this one is hard to work with, Sinful’s mattes become sticky as you’re applying them, but still take a while to set up. Savage will stain your nails when you take it off. I get inconsistent wear times with this under my Sally Hansen Mega Shine topcoat, sometimes three days without chipping and sometimes not even 24 hours. I’ve learned not to expect wear from Sinful’s polishes.
As far as packaging goes, I am not a huge fan of Sinful’s brushes, I wish they were softer as I think they cause some drag marks during application. I don’t have as much control with them as I do with other polishes. The bottles are hard to get product out of once they’ve reached the 1/3 full mark, but that’s only an issue on colors I’ve used a lot of. Sinful doesn’t label their matte colors, which I think they should do because I think their matte formulas need work and I’d rather avoid them.
Of the polishes I’ve found at the $1.99 price point, Sinful has the least disappointing formula, but that’s not really saying much. They’re a cheap way to get some fun colors or try something new, just don’t expect too much.

I hate the color. It is such a boring blue/teal/
