Interesting color, it’s a somewhat dusty, slightly muted blue but still very bright and eye catching. Polish quality is ok, full opacity at 2 coats. It’s fun from time to time in the summer but not particularly flattering.

This color I honestly only grabbed because I needed another polish in one of their bogo offers. I am so impressed with it now and love the color. It’s a dusty blue. Someone mentioned Tiffany blue and that’s pretty accurate. It’s almost boring in the bottle but on the nails its very classy and understated.
Formula is unreal. No probs what-so-ever and wears like crazy.

I am very impressed with Rocky’s color and durability. It’s bluer, thicker, deeper and darker than a traditional Tiffany blue. I want to associate this color with Colorado for some reason, but I honestly don’t know WHY! It’s creamy and matte. No shimmer or sparkle. It was perfectly opaque within two coats.
This is a gorgeous color for spring/summer. The hue looks great against my medium olive skin both with and without a St. Tropez Dark spray tan.
I would imagine that it would be very easy to do dots/swirls over the top of Rocky, with another shade. It would be a lovely base for nail art!
I am wearing Rocky right now, and I am satisfied with how long it has stayed on my natural nails. I’m on Day #5. I always use Zoya’s anchor base coat and armor top coat. I am lucky if I can go 3 days without a chip popping up somewhere. I don’t mind touching up a nail here or there. And I have touched up a couple nails since my original application. Very minor, though. I’m extremely hands-on and quite un-delicate around the house. You know how some polishes chip in chunks, almost immediately? Not this one.
Despite my use of base and top coats, with the hard water in my area, my paint job usually goes to the birds after I shampoo and dry my hair. (I’ve started to wear gloves while washing my hair to preserve my nail polish, but that’s a different discussion for a different day!) I’ve shampooed twice since applying the original two coats, and I’ve only had to touch up the outer edges of a few nails.
My entire nail polish collection is Zoya. It is one of the healthiest brands out there, with fewer “bad” chemicals than its competitors. I highly recommend the Zoya brand in general. Rocky is one of the best formulations from their entire collection.
