I said to re-purchasing this polish only because I love the colour so much and it’s dirt cheap. ($1.99 at Real Canadian Superstore)
Everyone has described the colour perfectly. It’s a rich brown based eggplant with a beautiful sheen. I had no problems applying the polish and two coats gave me a nice opaque finish.
However, after one day of wear, there are slight chips showing.
I’ll re-touch for a few days and after that, I’ll be changing my polish because I don’t like having to touch up constantly.
Sinful Colors has a great variety of colours but the staying power can be improved.

This is the only nail polish that I have bought multiples so I will always have a back up. I love Rich in Heart! The color seems to be a mixture of a very dark red married to a deep brown with a hint of eggplant. It has a lovely shimmer (not glitter!) that can be seen as you move your hands in the light.
It’s a deeply saturated color, needing only one coat, although I still do two coats and Seche Vite as a top coat.
The texture is perfect, it goes on evenly, levels well.
There is nothing negative to say about this winner, you won’t be sorry if you buy it!

This is a great polish from Sinful! This brand is hit or miss in my experience with it but this one is definitely a hit.
Rich in Heart is a very deep, rich purple/eggplant that becomes almost black with two coats. I’m very pale-skinned but the lovely color looks flattering even though it is so dark. There is a glint of shimmer in the shade in the bottle; it shimmers through as a pretty and fine burgundy sparkle in the light (whereas out of light the color shows no sparkle). It’s a unique and beautiful shade overall. The formula is very thick and you can do just one coat for even opacity. It dries reasonably quickly for such a thick polish, goes on surprisingly smoothly and dries with nice shine and no bubbles.
Normal sized bottle, decent brush and all for $2. A winner!

I adore this nail polish! It was love at first sight. Used it for the first time last night. It applied beautifully! Required two coats which is to be expected. I let it dry and went to bed. This morning within a few hours (no dishes or hard labor) 5 of my nails are completely chipped at the ends. I am going to find a good top coat that will hopefully add to the longevity of my mini manis. I really want this polish to work, but it needs to last longer.

Beautiful dark burgundy color that unfortunately (for me) tends to just look a flat black or brown in most lighting. The deep red color really only comes to life in the sunlight. I’ve had two bottles of this and the second one seemed a lot thicker than the first, I wonder if they changed the formula a bit? Despite gooping up on me though it had a decent dry time. I still love the color and would continue to use it.

This nail polish is absolutely fantastic! I’m on my third bottle and I wear it VERY often. As I am tired of plain black nail polish, this is a pretty great replacement. It has a nice vampy sort of glow to it and you can really only see it in the light. I also realized, when I was swimming in a pool, the glow is so much more vibrant. It is to DIE for! There is no white streak in the underwater glow so all you get is a true, rich red shine. The price is amazing and the longevity and wear is outstanding. With just 2 coats, I can wear it for about a week with no chipping, without a top coat! It’s very smooth and highly pigmented. I would definitely recommend this polish to everyone looking for a very dark red. Especially to my fellow goths!

I really like this color, it takes quite a while to fully dry but it lasts on my nails for a while. Overall sinful colors has a very good variety of colors and for good prices and i would definitely repurchase this.

I haven’t had much luck with Sinful Colors, but I keep buying them, mostly because I’m attracted to the colours and they’re so cheap. I’ve only just painted my nails with Rich in Heart this afternoon, so I can’t speak to its longevity/wear, but the colour is gorgeous. Obviously perfect for Fall. I was also surprised this was a one coater (with a few minor bald spots that I could have done another coat, but I’m lazy and they aren’t that noticeable). And compared to other Sinful Colors I’ve tried, it dried pretty well and fast, though I used the Fresh Paint drying drops from Five Below. Yet the polish seems to be a bit on the thin side; that is, drips seemed to get away from the brush and there was a lot of clean up of my cuticles afterwards (acetone and an e.l.f. concealer brush), and I was worried it’d be a pain with the dark colour but it actually cleaned up quite well, with only a bit of residual staining in the hard to reach nooks and crannies underneath the cuticles.
Unfortunately I chose poorly in using a wax effect top coat, which takes so much away from this polish in it’s shine and shimmer. And the minor bald spots are more noticeable. I won’t do that again, and I’m almost tempted to start over… I really was pleasantly surprised by this polish.

I was looking for a good dark fall nail polish, and I honestly thought this would be more of a brick red sort of color but as it turns out it’s more of a very dark chocolate…with the most gorgeous flecks of shimmer! I wear my nails short and I have gotten so many compliments when I wear this color. Also, considering it was $2 at Walmart, it wears realllly well – I am pretty hard on my hands (doing dishes, washing my hands a lot, etc.) so I can burn through a manicure pretty quickly but this polish still looks good after 4 days, which I think is not bad considering how dark it is. It’s definitely a more edgy color (someone asked me the other day if it was an OPI color, which amused me for some reason – looks like it’s a dupe of Midnight in Moscow, from what I can tell). Anyway, ya can’t beat the price and it is a gorgeous shade, especially when you’re outside and the sun hits it. My current fav! **EDIT: using 3 coats, no top coat, this lasted a full week with no chipping. Gorgeous!!

Wow… after owning this for a few years and just purchasing OPI’s Midnight in Moscow, I just realized this is a total dupe. It’s an almost black base (imagine the outside of a black olive) with burgundy shimmer. Considering the price difference, I’d stick with this one! Formula is great, 2 coats.
