I have only had my bottle a year and it is no longer the original color. It arrived to me not quite right but I didn’t return as I bought it from Zoya’s site and they credited me saying that shade has trouble changing even on their shelves. It now is a dusty, muted mauve/red. Still an interesting color, but not a neon summer color anymore.

I love Renee! My nails have that “lit from within” look. Bear in mind, I do have 3 coats followed by a top coat of Seche Vite. Topcoat almost gives this polish a patent leather look – so pretty! This does have neon pigment in it, so it does dry matte, topcoat is necessary for shine. Though I wouldn’t say this screams neon, it is a bright, lovely shade. I just took off China Glaze Sea Spray, definitely a different direction from this, I literally cannot stop staring at my nails!

Description: “Zoya Nail Polish in Renee can be best described as: Ultra-bright red-toned medium neon pink creme. Bright and eye-catching, perfect for showing off a deep summer tan.” In the bottle, Renee looks like a medium toned, magenta pink. Once applied to the nails it is much different. It looks like a vibrant pinked, red. In low lighting, my nails look completely red, but in the sunlight – the pink tone is much more visible. I applied Seche base coat, two coats of polish and Sally Hansen insta-dri top coat. With two coats my nails are completely opaque (nail line is slightly visible). Within a couple of days, the polish chipped off three of my nails. This was an OKAY polish – nothing i would recommed.
