Theo….looks like a dark gray polish with sparkles. Turns out to be more of a metal grey with random flecks like confetti. The end result is a bumpy finish that makes it look like a second grader did my nails.

Since I discovered this nail polish I do not use anything else. There are a lot of harmfull ingredients in nail polish and Zoya is advertised as not having many of them. For me this is very important. I found that the quality is different depending on the color. Some colors stay on my nails longer than others, most of them apply very well. However, all in all it performs the same or even better than the nail polishes I used before (e.g. OPI).
There are many color options, I think I have more than 20.
I agree with what was said in other reviews – it takes a very long time to dry well. I use the fast drops and it got better, but still I do not paint my nails before going to bed (even if I wait an hour or two, I will wake up with marks on my nails). However, if I paint my nails during the day, I can go about my business quite quickly after, I just have to avoid very aggressive impact with my nails for an hour or two.
It gets thiker quickly, but I use the Zoya renew drops and solved the problem.
Overall, lasting power + lack of many harmfull ingredients is worth all the other cons. Of course, I use the Zoya base and top as well.

Pros:
– the amazing thing about these nail polishes that they do not stain your nails! I haven’t tried all color range, but bright reds do not stain my nails even when worn without a base coat for a week;
– they are long lasting. Without any base or a top coat nail polish is totally chip-free for 5-6 days with easily noticeable chips starting only on day 7;
– the color range is amazing;
– the bottle has a nice design and upscale feel without the price of the high-end brand;
– doesn’t become gloopy in the bottle (I have an issue that many of my polishes get gloopy in two months, Zoya doesn’t).
Cons:
– the brush is very narrow and straight cut, not easy to work with;
– it takes forever to dry, literally about 24 hours. But Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat dries this polish fully in about 30 min to an hour.
– it dehydrates my nails causing splits. Each time I remove this nail polish I see extremely dry nails. I don’t recall this problem with other brands.
Wouldn’t buy it again if I won’t find a perfect base + top coat combo to work with it.

I am a nail polish junkie and have tried a ton of brands, but Zoya truly stands out.
I am rubbish at applying my own nail polish and you might find Zoya’s brush to be a bit tricky, after all it is so tiny, probably half the size of Essie’s brush. But! When you find a find how to apply it – you will love it. The colour lasts so well, no chipping, not flaking. It can be easily removed and won’t ruin your nails underneath it; formula is free of well known nasties, which is great. I also know a lot of mommies, who have been using Zoya during their pregnancies, which is great news for every nail polish junkie out there. I am currently obsessed with the shade Jordan, you can see me wear it here ( Highly recommend Zoya!

Zoya has some gorgeous shades of nail polish. More often than not, when I need a “tricky” color to match an outfit, I usually have luck finding a shade from Zoya. They have some gorgeous, unique shades. Creams to frosts to shimmers to glitters, and other finishes. Just gorgeous.
However, application for me can be so varied with this brand. Some glide on effortlessly and wear for a week before chipping; other shades apply patchy or streaky (generally I find to be a very watery formula) and some chip horribly by the second day. So, performance and application is not consistent with this brand, at least not for me. And it always seems the prettiest colors are the ‘moodiest’..lol. But still, stunning shades and yes, some do need some work to get them to look good. I will (and have) definitely repurchase(d).

Very inconsistent. I’ve had some colors that have performed okay but Rue which prompted me to write this review goes on patchy and streaky over their own Anchor basecoat. Zoya’s Armor topcoat is the worst I’ve ever used. Over their own polishes doesn’t last two days. Don’t waste your money. There are too many good products out there at this pricepoint.

I have this in Delilah and it’s horrendous. The glitter distribution is totally botched up. You end up with your nails covered in grossly uneven streaks of glitter, and the look of glitter itself is pretty damn dull, too, and doesn’t improve much even once I’ve put my glossiest topcoat over it. The colour is beautiful and it doesn’t chip easily, but looks so sloppy when applied that it’s really practically useless. I’m a bit of a nailpolish addict and I’m well accustomed to painting my nails with glitter polishes, from the cheapest drugstore ones all the way to the top of the line (best I’ve ever tried are OPI and Illamasqua) and this one is completely impossible to apply evenly, unless you fuss with it for an hour and apply at least three abnormally thick coats. It’s undoubtedly the worst glitter polish I’ve ever tried. Packaging is nice, I guess, but nothing special? It’s functional. I wouldn’t call it terribly original or iconic or anything, but it gets the job done and it’s not hideous.
My mom bought me this; when I saw the prices at the Zoya counter in our local Mueller, I almost gagged with indignation. It’s natural makeup, oh how wonderful – who the hell cares, if it’s unwearable? If you can’t manage a halfway decent glitter suspension, then maybe don’t manufacture glitter polish that’s shittier than Essence’s nail polishes. Those are like 1.50 euros a bottle. This is over 10 euros.
No way I’m buying this again. I don’t even know what to do with this bottle, because it makes my blood boil every time I look at it and it’s been sitting on my nailpolish shelf for like 2 years now. I might get over my disappointment and try another polish from this brand, one with a different finish, but I’m generally unwilling to trust brands that put such a sloppily made product out.

I loved Zoya until this last promotion (70% off in Dec. 2016) I received a bad polish that was thick and would not dry. They replaced it with another bad one that would not dry. I changed the color to a slightly different one which turned out to be bad too. It was very thick and drying very slow. After painting my nails hours before going to bed, I woke up with sheet marks. I don’t know what happened and the women I was in touch with said she didn’t either. I didn’t open my bottles for 24 hours after I got them. I don’t believe I should have had to do this, but I thinned one of them…then thinned it again till FOUR DROPS later it seemed normal. I painted my nails and it did dry eventually but slowly and I had no sheet marks when I woke up.
I just don’t know what happened? Did this just happen to me?
The Zoya rep. told me it was new stock and they did not change the formula.

I have a few of zoya polishes and I use them mostly on my toes. I don’t really do base and top coat because I just don’t have the time.
The colours and formula are good, but it chips like in 2 days, which is as bad as the chanel polishes. Since there’s no base coat this must be inherent property of the formula.
Will stick to other longer lasting polishes.

When I bought a polish from Zoya I was not aware that this was a vegan product. I probably would have at least had an inkling that it would not play well with my base and top coats. I used it once with only a nail treatment underneath and my Seche Vite on top. Started peeling the next morning when I washed my hair. I also tried it with my Seche Clear underneath and Seche Vite on top, just as bad.
Also, applying the polish was not fun at all. It went on kind of thick for my taste the first time. The second time I used it, it was really goopy as if the short exposure to air it had gotten had evaporated it more than normal polishes. I will not buy this brand again.
