I found this at my local Big Lots, and knew that I had to have it! I have an assortment of milky, almost sheer nail colors, and this particular polish looks very similar to them all. I tend to get distracted by my other more vibrant nail polishes for a while, but like an old friend, I can always fall back on a faintly pink polish to make my nails look great no matter what!
I was hoping that Sweet Nothings would be a little less sheer, and a bit more orangey (like it looks in the bottle) but other than that I was pleased by the way this polish made my fingers appear thinner and longer–very flattering! It was also not sticky at all, which is a definite plus. It dries very well, which is good because you’ll need to add 2-3 coats to get full coverage. If you can’t pick this up in a dollar store or a Big Lots, I would recommend Wet N Wild Sugar Coat as a cheap dupe. This color also reminds me of Revlon’s Sheer Petal, but that particular polish tends to flake off way too quickly.
For a delicate, classic manicure you can never go wrong by reaching for a nail polish like Sweet Nothings!

I really like L’oreal nail polish. Sweet nothings is a milky, peachy-pink sheer color. I like it best applied as one coat. If I apply 2 or 3 coats, the color starts to look streaky and milky, plus the color turns to a peach color that makes my nails look stained.

This is a nice peachy pink nude color, but it goes on streaky. I solve the problem by topping it with a clear glitter polish from Sally’s Hard as Nails called Disco Ball. The glitter helps hide the streaks. Unfortunately, it’s no longer a low key nail polish. Sort of defeats the purpose.

This is an amazing milky pinkish-white color. The only thing is that I get air bubbles with this after a while, so nail polish thinner is going to be a must for me.

I love the color, formula, and brush. My only regret is that I spent more money than I care to think about on OPI Bubble Bath. Never again.

I’m a sucker for OPI polishes, and had never tried a L’oreal polish before — a colossal mistake, as it turns out! I forgot my nail kit when I went on vacation and got this one at a drugstore in a pinch, and it’s actually pretty dreamy.
The colour is a light milky pinkish (leaning white, I think) and two coats create a very reasonable french manicure look even without a topcoat. It lasted for four days for me without chipping, five and a half with a topcoat.
So much for my snobbery — I’d buy this again even at the price I pay for my so-called ‘better brand’ polishes!

i love this nail polish. its sheer, which is the only downfall, but when i put on two coats the sheerness goes away and the color looks good, a milky very nude light pink. sometimes i put on three coats and it isnt too thick where it starts chipping. i love this color, i would say its my favorite nail polish.

I love this. The Pro brushes are fantastic. The application is wonderful. However, mine is not pinky at all. It’s white, and could very well be a twin for OPI Bubble Bath (the whiter version). It’s a great clean looking color. I’m warm, tan, MMM, brown hair, brown eyes.

Great stuff. I put this on while I was on a beach vacation… the chlorine and sunscreen, etc usually totally gunks up my nail polish…but this stuff is still on my nails even without a topcoat and I have been back for several days already. I would say 3 or 4 days into a two coat application, it still looks perfect. Then it starts to chip a bit on some nails and get dull looking (again, considering no top coat). So it’s now about a week since I did my nails and time to do them again but they look decent enough that I could still go another day without.
The color is a very nice milky beige pink. Can’t wait to try out the other shades. I think it lasts way better than the Revlon Colorstay which I find inconsistent depending on which colors you get.

such a great creamy pink! this is a great color for people with fair/beige skin because it is one of the few nude shades that add a little warmth without being chalky. the color is rich after 3 coats, but that doesn’t bother me because the polish drys within about three minutes. the bottle is really pretty too. it looks expensive and is very durable, unlike most drugstore brands. The brush is also amazing. it is really wide, so i need just one stroke to cover my whole nail. Best of all, my nail color lasted 10 days without significant chipping, because it doesn’t have formaldehyde and other toxic chemicals. I got this for 3 dollars at Walgreen’s! this is an amazing drugstore find.
