Ultra Violence is a purple shimmer polish with coppery glitter. It has a perfect consistency, very easy to apply and the glitter spreads out evenly. 2 coats gave me full opacity. It has a metallic look about it. I did get a couple of small chips on the 2nd day, but I am not sure whether it’s the polish or my new base coat that’s to blame (I am convinced it’s the latter). The removal is a little tricky because of the glitter, so I recommend you use scrubby tub with bristles, which makes it easier to remove.
For those who has never heard of Picture Polish, it’s an Australian indi brand. The polishes can be bought directly from them or through various distributors around the world. Here in the UK, you can buy a bottle for £10.75 and although it’s not cheap, I can assure you these polishes are worth every penny. It is cheaper to buy it from the company directly, but you have to take postage and duty charges into account (I thought I made a decent saving only to receive a letter from DHL asking me to pay duty. In the end these polishes cost me more than the inflated UK price – lesson learnt).
