Saltwater is Collaboration shade 2016. It’s a light pastel, turquoise, scattered holo polish.
I needed 3 coats to get perfect opacity, but this polish is easy to build up. Pastels are not flattering on me, as they give me lobster hands, but I loved this colour on me nevertheless. I had a chip just after 1 day of wear, but this is most likely because my nails are not in the best condition right now.
I love polishes by Picture Polish, but Saltwater is slightly disappointing. I would still repurchase it because I love the colour and finish.
For those who has never heard of Picture Polish, it’s an Australian indi brand. The polishes can be bought directly from them or through various distributors around the world. Here in the UK, you can buy a bottle for £10.75 and although it’s not cheap, I can assure you these polishes are worth every penny. It is cheaper to buy it from the company directly, but you have to take postage and duty charges into account (I thought I made a decent saving only to receive a letter from DHL asking me to pay duty. In the end these polishes cost me more than the inflated UK price – lesson learnt).
