It’s s semi-sheer pearly frost. The color is lovely a soft slightly off white. It doesn’t apply that well, not terribly, but it will show streaks and every dent, line, etc…imperfection in your nails like a frost will. It’s more frost than pearl or glitter.
One coat is nice, but two seems best. You’ll want a smoothing top coat. I prefer polishes with better application than this one and less frost (which shows all the nail flaws, and brush marks)
Skip this one (I think it’s discontinued any way) and try a cheaper one that applies perfectly with no brush marks, etc…Wet N Wild Break the ice, if you like this color you’ll like that one too, less frost but a touch more glitter but not gaudy.

This is your basic pearlescent white nail polish. I recently received this in a swap and so far am pretty happy with it. I have been wearing it for three days and have had only minimal chipping. I love that it is not streaky, as that been an issue with other pearly white n/p I have tried so far. It is a bit sheer, with two coats I can still see the whites of my nail somewhat. I am on the fence about purchasing when I run out, because the color is not terribly unique, but it’s nice for what it is.

I bought this colour because I had a salon pedicure with Kyoto Pearl and the therapist did such a bad job with the streaks that I couldn’t live with it any more! However, I wanted a pearly colour so I tried Pearl’s Night Out instead. Whether it’s my superior nail-painting skills (hehe) or the quality of the polish I’m not entirely certain, but Pearl’s Night Out went on smoothly and had the lovely pearl lustre I was craving.

Pearls Night Out is a white shade with a silver sheen and a pearly cast. This is the cool shimmery white in the 2008 Soft Shades collection in comparison with it’s golden companions Oh So Glam! and She’s Golden. I am cooler toned and so this is probably better suited for my skintone than the more golden shades, but I found those prettier and more unique. I was able to get an even application with two coats. For this reason, I prefer Pearls Night Out to Kyoto Pearl. I could not get Kyoto Pearl to go on evenly at all and so I strongly recommend Pearls Night Out as an alternative. I would wear this shade again, but I don’t see me reaching for it that often. I don’t think this is especially similar to Elle’s Pearls (which I really like) as Elle’s Pearls is pinker and has an iridescent quality that Pearls Night Out does not.

I really like this – but I goota say that I like Elle’s Pearls (slightly more golden) and Kyoto Pearl more. This makes a goof topper if you need a pearly finish. Just OK on its own. I like Kyoto Pearl.

A pretty white pearl shade from ’08 SoftShades collection, Beyond Chic. After using it a few times, I found that three coats looks the same as two coats, so I decided to save time and polish and stick with two. It’s a very sheer colour, like most pearls. It’s white enough to appear a white-ish colour but sheer enough to see through. Gives my nails and hands a very soft and elegant finish. It has the same “Pro-Wide” brushes as all the new OPI polishes, which is just wonderful. Also, it’s easy to paint on smoothly.
