Party Bus is part of the Carrie Underwood spring 2014 collection, and can still easily be found on Amazon UK and in various eBay stores – for only £3. It contains various sized silver holo hex glitter flecks in a clear base, and then is made a bit more special by having flower shaped glitter pieces scattered throughout the mix too.
The hex glitter applies fairly smoothly through I do prefer using dabbing motions for better placement, and the base is quick to dry too. The flower shaped particles are bigger then the other pieces of glitter, so getting the brush to pick up the pieces is a bit of hit or miss fishing expedition, but the finished look is lovely when I take the few minutes of time to do it.
finally: I was really delighted to find that this topper adds about two days to the life of my manicure.
The only thing I’m not liking here is the bottle shape. I’m not usually one to complain about the shape of the Nicole bottles, but it does make fishing for the flower shaped glitter harder; the heavier flower pieces drift to the bottom of the bottle in the jutting out part, and the brush doesn’t reach there. Holding the bottle upside down before using this polish solves this issue, but I think a bottle (or longer wand) redesign is something that is required to make Nicole polishes more user friendly.

Party Bus is a pretty silver holographic glitter polish from the Carrie Underwood collection released in spring 2014. I found this glitter topper in a sale bin at HEB for almost 50% off. (Lucky me!) This is the prettiest topper and it has tiny round holo silver glitters, small round silver holo glitters and the best of all ~ little silver holographic flowers! FLOWERS! Cute. This polish really sparkles. I love the flowers so much. They are unique and this is the first on the shelf polish I have seen with any flower shaped glitters. I’ve seen stars and moons. but this is cute little flowers and they are holographic! They certainly do reflect a lot of light and it’s like little mirrors on your nails they way they sparkle and shine. The formula on this is typical for a glitter topper, a lot of clear base and the glitters are suspended within. While the flowers are plentiful, I did have to do a little fishing and placement to get them where I wanted them. This glides on smoothly and I got a nice mixture of mini and small glitters, but the flowers took a little fishing as they tended to stick to the bottle or the brush. I only used 1 layer of glitter polish as I like the sparser placement and this needs to be work appropriate so a glitter bomb isn’t the look I am going for. This is not meant to be opaque and it’s a fantastic topper. I don’t know why I missed this when they were released, I suppose I did not see the flowers and thought I already had enough silver glitter polishes. Thank goodness that I found this in the sale bin! There were several bottles too so this is still available for purchase at the brick and mortar stores and quite possibly still available online too. I wore this for 5 days and the only problem I had was that one of the flowers popped off. I did use a coat of Seche Vite over this to quick dry it as well as smooth the flowers down, but I should have done a second coat. The flowers tend to “float” on top of the wet polish and as a result the edges will sometimes not lay perfectly flat against the nail. This is an easy polish to work with and it looks so pretty on. I am still tickled pink that I picked this up for nearly half off and I love it!
