Meet Me at Midnight was a part of Ciate Advent Calendar from a couple of years ago. It was the last polish and the only full-size one. It looks fab in the bottle: clear base loaded with bronze and lilac glitter, and occasional larger lilac glitter. It’s one of those polishes that I am happy to wear around Christmas, but I wouldn’t dream to put it on at any other time of the year. It’s a little OTT for my taste.
I looked up swatch pictures on Google, before I used this polish. From those pictures I could see that the glitter wasn’t as densely packed as it looked in the bottle (even after 3 coats you can still see the gaps), so I decided to apply it over a black cream polish (BL Union Jack Black). So, in my picture you can see 2 coats of MMaM over 1 coat of BL). The glitter is easy enough to spread over, but like I’ve mentioned before it is not as densely packed as I thought it would be. It took a like longer than usual to dry.
This is not my cup of tea, so I would not repurchase it, but if you are into glitters, it’s unusual enough to own.
