I tried the color Constant Candy. It’s a very very light solid pink, but it’s so thin. I usually just use two coats of this, but it’s quite streaky. However, it stays on really well. I can have it on for up to a week without any noticeable chipping (depending on your top and base coat). I would like to try this formula in other shades to see if they’re streaky, too. I really do like it’s lasting power, but this shade was disappointing. You can definitely find a better pink shade/polish.

This is a review of the shade 230 Golden Opportunity. I bought this for the holiday season a few years ago, and it’s a super pretty cool-toned gold colour with lots of fine shimmer. It definitely makes a statement and works perfectly as a winter holiday nail colour. It’s more of a translucent glitter, but it looks nice with one coat and your natural nail colour peeking through, or you can build it up. I wouldn’t use it without a top coat since it chips easily, but for the price I paid that’s fine. I believe it was fairly inexpensive, so I’d definitely buy it again or try another shade when I run out.

Stumbled on the color “Mink” while browsing Walmart – I love the color. It’s a very sparkly/glittery brown taupe. No gray – very warm and neutral. It’s a sister to Essie’s Mochacino, but instead of leaning towards gray like Mochacino does, Cover Girl’s Mink leans towards a warm brown and its very sheer. A great every day color.
Love it.
Also purchased “Emerald Blaze” and it’s an amazing green duochrome. Love this polish line for $4.95!

I bought this nail polish in the shade Smokey Taupe #215 which I absolutely adore! This stuff goes on smooth and dries gorgeous and shiny……I do have to apply 2 coats to get that effect. This is a neutral shade which seems to match virtually every color in my wardrobe, so I can wear it with any outfit I own. It does show some wear at the fingertips at the end of the 2nd day but that doesn’t bother me since it I can paint a 3rd coat on and it looks great again!! THEN I got this in the shade Rose Gold #241 and I HATE it!! This one takes forever to dry and looks weird once it does. It looks cheap and ugly on me and it only stays on about an hour before turning dull and flaking off. What a difference in the two shades!! Can’t win em all I guess.

I haven’t written a review on here in awhile, but decided I needed to for these nail polishes. So I am slowly building my collection up again, about 4 months ago I did a purge and had to chuck out most of my nail polishes b/c they were just so old. I get my nails done every 2 weeks (I wear acrylics) so what I have been doing is buying a bottle of nail polish, having the salon use it on my nails and then I have it in my collection. That way too I can carry it in my bag in case I have a chip or wanna touch up until my next appt.
Anyways, for awhile I had been using Essie and OPI…and sidenote, IDK what is going on w/Essie these days, but I just don’t think it’s that good. So when that Star Wars collection for Cover Girl came out I noticed a gorgeous red, so I bought it and had my nails done with it. The gal who does my nails commented that it seemed to be a really good formula; it went on evenly and was just so shiny and smooth looking after two coats. It wore really well, no touch ups needed throughout the two weeks. I thought it was just a fluke, but then another color caught my eye, a really pretty sparkly purple/magenta color and I had the exact same results with it. Lasted for over two weeks, the finish/color never got “old” looking and went on like a dream.
So today, I decided to really put this to the test. I picked up a very light nude/pink color. Again, it went on very nicely, NO streakiness. After two coats it was so even and shiny and it is just gorgeous.
So overall, I think these Outlast nail polishes are some hidden gems. The nice thing too is that they are usually around $5-6 and there are some really unique colors in the line. These are my favorites, by far!

These little polishes are pretty good for a drugstore polish. I have a baby pink shade #155 it’s shiny and looks good after about 3 coats. This was actually a steal at $1.50 seen it at Big Lots and thought I’d try it.I’ve also tried the baby blue but prefer this color cause it seems thicker.I think this shade would look great on most or all skintones. It does chip after a few days but most polishes do.

I purchased 125 Peaches n cream and let me start off by mentioning it was a GORGEOUS color. A perfect cross between peachy and pink. It was nice and glossy but it took quite a while to dry. The container makes the brush application a little difficult. After a couple of months I had to toss it away because it suddenly got very clumpy and sticky. I wish this nail polish would have worked for me because the color was amazing.

I’m reviewing the color ‘Non-Stop Stone’, it’s a grey/mauvish crème that in my opinion is almost exactly the same shade as Rimmel’s Steel Grey:
Here is Steel Grey:
I looked up swatches for Non Stop Stone, but they all look too true grey, whereas I see a more lavender/mauve tinge in my bottle, like Steel Grey.
Excellent application! The consistency of this polish is very smooth and easy to apply. It also dried easily.
The price was great, I bought it for $1.50 at Big Lots.
Would definitely buy more from this line, I already have Forever Festive (a red shimmer) and Ever Reddy (a red crème) both of which are amazing and incredibly easy to wear and apply.

Didn’t really like this nail polish. I picked up the colour “Give ’em the Greenlight” from a clearance bin for under $2. It was a nice enough colour, just didn’t suit me. I found the bottle design more difficult to use because the handle is so chunky, the narrower ones found on most other brands are much better. The formula was so-so. It looked a little bit streaky, but with a couple of coats you could make it look decent. Honestly, it might have looked this way more due to the design of the brush than any fault of the formula. I just found it unusually awkward.
Also, I’m not usually bothered by scents like some people are, but a little while after applying, my nails still had a gross kind of smell to them when my hands were anywhere near my face. I took it off not long after, so I can’t give any input into how long lasting it is.
I’m glad I tried it when it was on clearance, because regular price is almost $6, and there are lots of other polishes for less or equal price that I think are a lot better than this.
Pros: Dried quickly, lots of colours
Cons: Awkward brush, lingering smell, not worth the price

I’m reviewing the colour Blue Hawaiian.
This is a fairly middle of the road polish. A slightly grey-toned blue creme. My favourite aspect of the polish is the coverage. It’s opaque in two coats, which I appreciate.
The dry time on this guy is on the longer side, remaining tacky to the touch for a little while after applying, so a quick-dry topcoat is recommended. The brush on this one, at least the bottle I have, is a tad on the stiff side, which leads to streaking if you’re not careful. The colour itself is nice, but there’s nothing about it that really makes it stand out, as I’ve seen similar colours from a huge variety of brands. Wear time is again, average. I start to see tipwear after 2 days, chipping after about 4.
This polish is wholly mediocre. It’s not bad, and not fantastic. I’d buy from this line again if I found them on a really good sale, but wouldn’t pay full retail price, especially since the colour selection isn’t exactly unique.
