Sally Hansen’s Pink Rose Diamond Nail Polish is from their Prisms line of polish which goes waayyyyy back to the early 2000s but I’ve just recently found this color on ebay. This polish is obviously almost 20 years old; however, it has held up well. On letting it sit in the helmer for a few weeks, the pigment did settle completely to the bottom and separate; however, with a good shake it was as good as new!! Application was a little runny but I think that was more the consistency of the polish rather than age as I’ve used other older Sally Hansen’s from different lines that were very thin. This applied very well and smoothly with no bubbling but it did take three coats to full coverage. Drying time was a little slow between coats but was rock hard with Seche Vite in half an hour. Once finished the color is a medium light linear holographic pink that really pops and shows the holo indoors and out. In outside lighting this is a typical pink holo. Indoors, there seems to be a little bit of rose gold tint to it (but still pink). I rated this a 3 on price as it is now obviously discontinued and getting to be hard to find. I would definitely buy this again and it may become a go-to color.

I’m so irked at Sally Hansen for discontinuing this!!! This color was my especial favorite-the pink in it was very feminine, but the holographic effect kept it interesting. I like to layer one coat of this over a couple coats of black cream polish to get a sort of “oil spill” effect. On the Sally Hansen website, they list all their discontinued products, and color similar to the discontinued one, and the one they listed for this color is also discontinued. AARG! I’m using my last bottle so, so sparingly, and I’m still looking for a good dupe for this.

Lovely pink color base w/strong lavendar under tones & tons of holographic rainbow colored micro glitter. Applies smoothly & has a nice texture. This lasted for 4 days w/o chips or peeling & didn’t come off until I removed it myself. Shines beautifully in the bright sunlight. I love the holos so I would definitely purchase again and will definitely purchase other SH holos.

I thought this color was supposed to be pink, but mine was more purple.. either way I loved it.

This color apparently came out in two formulas, because I have several bottles, most of them are in a clear bottle with a darker pink colored polish, but the oldest bottle is painted like the polish and is very light colored. Idunno, but I like them both so…
veryvery sparkly rainbowy yay. Fun to wear in highschool because they got me through boring classes, so equally fun in college lol
last a decent ammount of time with regular wear…

Another gorgeous, versatile nail polish by Sally Hansen. I only need two coats on my fingernails to see the holographic effect, and it lasts for a good two weeks.

Pretty, lavender-pink with holographic microglitter. Effect is rather subtle in indoor light, sort of a narrow, rainbow prism in the middle of each nail. Didn’t have problems with it not drying fast enough. It took about two hours to dry completely. Gives a nice, subtly flashy look. Only reason I wouldn’t repurchase is that I get bored of nail polish fairly quickly.

Love the unique-ness of this polish…indoors,it looks like a pretty but rather unexciting glittery pink, but in the sunlight,it turns holographic with tons of colors in it! Quite mesmerizing, really…I use this on my toes,it’s wonderful for pedicures.Lasts a decently long time too(I use this without a basecoat or topcoat,I am lazy),as I have gone up to 2 weeks without a single chip. 2 coats are sufficient for a great effect.

This polish is GORGEOUS! A purpley-pink which looks like a metallic pink at first, but in the sunlight, it is so beautiful–there are light-reflecting prismatic particles that flash all the colors of the rainbow across your nails! I have yet to see how long it lasts, but I’m wearing a base coat, 2 coats of this, and a top coat. It’s supposed to provide superior length, strength, wear and shine. These are limited edition, and I hope to get more shades from this line before they’re gone!

Oh I absolutely LOVE these nail polishes! I get so distracted by the rainbow. I love how it has both of my favorite colors in it (pink and purple). It gives a nice design w/o having 4 different bottles of nail polish (and all those little toothpicks) to deal with! I would recomend this to anyone who is as obsessed w/ nail polish as me!!
