Essie Too Too hot is a warm fresh red nail polish with a splash off orange. I prefer warm reds because they look better with my skintone (nc30). It applies smooth and easy, you can get away with wearing just one coat but I prefer two. I do agree that the longevity is not the greatest, it begins to chip in a few days but I just love the color.

Too too hot is a beautiful reddish coral with creamy finish. Great application and opacity in two coats. Longevity isn’t the greatest – definitely no more than three days – but I enjoy wearing it.

In the bottle this looks like a gorgeous shade of orange based red, but on my nails it looks like a shade of tomato red, with not so much orange – still gorgeous though! This is a lovely red and I believe it would suit a wide variety of skin tones. It has a creme finish, and an excellent formula. Two coats is all you need to reach full opacity. It applies very easily and does not apply with patches or streaks. The formula is nice and creamy. It dries quickly and to a shiny finish. I get very good wear time from this polish, 5 days when paired with base and top coat – even when I was heavy on my hands. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to find a good red shade.

Classic warm vibrant red shade, very good formula, very easy to achieve an opaque result. Worth having.

A beautiful orange-red cream polish. I have it on my fingers and toes at the moment and the colour is so bright – perfect for the summer! Application was a doddle and it was totally opaque in 2 coats. It’s a shiny polish but I added a top coat purely for longevity.

This reminds me a lot of Essie Fifth avenue, but on nails it is a bit more orange. The color is so bright! Love the formula.

Beautiful red with an orange undertone. The formula is thin but pigmented so the drying time is quick and I can get away with one coat if I needed to. Too Too Hot already has a pretty decent shine on its own but I always put a top coat. The brush is the perfect size for small nail beds.

I don’t usually wear red polishes, period. I like red polish and I think it looks classy when on other people, but I always find myself gravitating towards funky colors or oranges. When I went to buy some new polishes I told myself I was going to buy one red polish for the Fourth of July and just because I want at least one red in my collection. I wanted to buy a different red polish, but the selection of Essie polishes at my Ulta was kind of limited. I was between this color and Essie’s Ole Caliente. I ended up choosing this over Ole Caliente because the reviews for this polish were so better.
I find myself gravitating towards orange polishes a lot so I was a fan of the orange in this polish. It makes it look nice and summery and age appropriate. I would love to wear a deep, dark crimson red, but I just don’t think I could pull the look off. So while this wasn’t the most brave venture into reds, I am pleased with this nail polish.
Polish is opaque after 2 coats and dries fairly quickly with a nice shine. I will definitely be using this color a lot! Right now its on my toes, but when I want to feel vampy I think I will have to paint up my fingernails! 🙂

Simply gorgeous for summer! Pinkish, reddish, orangey coral. Classy and sexy.

From Essie Brazilian Collection this bright red with orange undertone catch my eyes. It is perfect for summer but could be a great year round nail polish depending on your skin tone (I have a naturally golden complexion NC20-25) so it will look good even if i’m not tan (which is the case right now),
It was my second Essie polish, i’m not really a polish gal, I have a couple of OPI (regular, for Sephora and for Nicole), China Glaze, and Lancome. Essie polish is more liquidy (not really a word) then OPI but close from Lancome. I like it even if it is easier to do a mess. Just need to be more careful if you apply your nail polish on the sofa! I first try it on my toe nails and it been 4 days and no cheeping will need to try it on my finger nails (by the way I wore Too Too hot on my toes and Cajun Shimp from OPI on my finger nails and it really look good!)
