I think this color has Essie’s new wider brush as the brush was different than the thinner one I’m used to. I like both brushes and don’t really have a preference.
It’s a lovely neutral (a little warm but a little more cool toned) mid-dark gray. It’s not warm and brown (the first coat is a little warmer than the second) nor too cool and blue-grey. It’s right in the middle but slightly cooler than warmer, but with just a touch of warmth to keep it neutral. A great grey in between cool and warm without being blue or brown in tone.
It’s not slightly taupe like the bottle color though. I love the color on my nails, but the bottle color is even prettier as it is a touch warmer and has a faint touch of purple, it doesn’t show up on the nails though. It’s a cream with no shimmer, etc…
One coat was warmer, but it needed two coats for evenness I doubt you’d need 3 coats unless you prefer it or need to even it out. It applied very well and easily.
It’s a lovely color and if you like this color family it’s nice.
